Title: General Meeting July 25th 1-4pm
Post by: EvilMonkey on June 25, 2004, 10:05:01 am: The next General Meeting will be July 25th from 1-4pm. The meeting location will be the Central Library (http://www.multcolib.org/agcy/cen.html) downtown in the US Bank Meeting Room. This is very easy to find because it is right on the MAX line! Heck, the Eastbound stop is called LIBRARY!

Too bad we can't bring snacks in though....

Post by: Oubeji on June 28, 2004, 11:53:58 am: I missed the last one so I was wondering when the next one was going to be. I'm pretty sure I can make it, I just need to come up with good explanation to skip church on sunday.....*cough*

I have sent a e-mail for volunteer position, and the reply told me I was included for the Info Booth. It also mentioned staff positions were available, so it would be nice to talk about it at the meet.
Another thing, I have some Japanese graphic novels I want to get rid of, as well as some other goodies and I am not sure if I should try to sell them or simply give them away...
There is no way I am going to earn the $75 from sellling my things to pay back the fee for the Exhibitor's hall.

Frodo: Yes, you would get an excellent chance to ride the cool thingy. The Library lies within Fareless Square (as does the hotel) so you could ride the cool thingy all the way across the river to Lloyd Center and all the way back! As you said though, you can't be there. It's too bad.

Frodo swears upon the grave of her Tamogatchi that she will ride the cool thingy by the end of Kumori Con! ^.^

And could someone please remember to put up EVERYTHING that happened at the meeting afterwards, for those of us who can't attend. I suggest designating an official note taker before hand to make this job easier. ^.^

frodo- I would be glad to play tour guide on the cool-thingy. I've been thinking about actually asking the programming people if I could host a bust tour to Uwajimaya and back. If we took the MAX back it'd be a little bit of a walk but it'd still work out good.

Hmmm.... must definitely find a person to email about that.
