Hey, I saw the panels sheet and it said the Bakazoku panel was at Midnigt because some people were "offended" (?!). Will there be another Bakazoku panel for the fans who aren't over 18?

You, me, or Lizzie need to e-mail the director of programming and request an all ages (though we'll have to keep it clean) panel for during the day as well. Otherwise, it's not really fair to the fans that aren't 18. :(

I'm not sure. That's up to the con/security/whatever minor laws Portland has, unfortunately. Even if you can't go to the midnight one, we'll do our best to make whatever during-the-day panel we might have as funny as we can while remaining PG/PG-13 for the sensitive peoples. :lol:

RETRIBUTION BEGINS NOW
According to Multnomah county (http://www.co.multnomah.or.us/dcj/jcjcurfew.shtml), kids under 14 can be out as late as 9:15. As for those 14-18, it's 10:15 on school nights and midnight on weekend nights.

in regards to takin care of pets I have a cat food filler bowl with 2 weeks food supply, a cat water dish that refills on a tank for up to 1 week, and an auto cat box for the cleanup. MUHAHAH im covered

As far as I know, Brenda planned on having Bakazoku give a day time panel, then thought the group might appreciate having a no holds barred panel after midnight. There were always two (or more) I haven't seen the latest schedule. As soon as I get it, I will post it. Understand, any thing that's posted may change up to the con. But at least you can get an idea of what we are presenting.
I will be reprising my hentai panel (18+) and a workshop on creating cosplay patterns from scratch with Dash. Plus opening and closing ceremonies. I have some very special surprises for that....

T.T Two years of Kumoricon and I have yet to make it to the opening ceremoney... freaking.... our driver is known to be LATE.... grrrr.....
Once we were going to the opening premeire of a movie in Imax... from Salem to Portland... is about an hour right? We left about 40 min. before it started.... we BREALY made it before they started it and we sped and ran like hell.... i wanna see the surprise.

Lol, I am too... I have the calander marked with the days, the family calander and mine, and then I have a counter for my myspace, and downloaded one to put on the desktop. And you know those old christman chains,.... I have one of those too ^^;;;;

Meh, I wont be really excited until the last half of August... In which case I'm depressed because the days are getting shorter and slowly, but surely, we're entering the cold season again. K-Con has, for the last two years, marked the end of summer for me. I really couldn't ask for a better ending, but I do wish it wouldn't end... Mainly because this year, I know the cold is going to "burn" me... I've become accustomed to heat.
Now, I am completely stoked. I'm going to have an Asuka-gasm because my girlfriend is cosplaying Asuka from Evangelion... And Tiffany Grant, her VA, is coming. Totally going to blow my mind.
I'm trying not to think about it too much, I would like to sleep and be able to function... Semi-normally. I know amazing things should happen and this might be the best K-Con yet... Which has stiff competition.
All I know is I've got a month and a half to finish working on my "super secret" cosplay outfit and save money up... Not to mention pre-register.

I don't even have a pattern yet, lol.
I keep having nightmares about going to the convention without A cosplay done. Including last nights. lol, it was werid. We went to the opening ceremoney and Bakazoku came on stage and I flipped out cause my sister said I never finished my cosplay and she forgot to pack my wig. So I ran back to Salem crying, and grabbed an old cosplay. :P

Frack! I cannot believe how close the con is! I'm buggin, guys. I'm an artist this year and I swear to you, I've never worked this hard on my art work in years. It's a good kind of busy, though. I get to read manga for ideas, draw anime/manga art all day, and listen to CD's while eating Pepridge Farm cookies. It's awesome!

1. The Saturday after "this" Saturday (so, the Saturday after next)
2. The coming Saturday ie, the nearest Saturday.
I'll bend and say yes, it is this next Saturday... But in my opinion, the next Saturday is the one coming, since that is a correct use of the word.
And never again shall we have a situation like this arise... Don't mess with people like that >.<

Not packed yet, costume not even started, although proto-types have been made. I'm bringing my hardware cloth pattern from the test mascot cages down with me and make it in the 4 days I'm there in Vancouver, WA early before the convention! ^^ Feel the adrenaline!
And I've yet to finish inventory, and store away all my felt and still have to buy certain supplies. I'll be running on coffee and nerves!

Not meaning to get philosophical here but if someone did speed up time, then wouldn't we in affect also be affected by said spell or such and thus wouldn't be feeling anything since we're already sped up? :?

Can u Beleive it??? *dies* My house is a COSPLAY MESS. We all feel like overworked shop keepers. My sisters friend just started hers yesterday, and is a first time sewer (Our Pluto) But she did a really good job and is almost done. My sister couldnt find her old P-Chan body suit so she has to make a whole new one in one night as well as finishing her head and helping me put finishg touches on mine. We will be working even today before we go get our badges. So while she works, I agreed I would go food shopping for all of us later in the day. Ugh...today is gonna be hectic. Then we all got to pack and I have to count and check bags (Last year someone *cough* left their cosplay in Salem and had to go back to get it >.> *stares at her*) And then I got to give myself french nails for my character which takes 2 hours min to do.
