Title: Whos gonna dress up as whom? Are original charas allowedo.o?
Post by: Ayasima_Vexic on June 22, 2004, 10:44:07 pm: I was planning on going as Chii from Chobits but then changed my mind, i dont look much like her at all, and the wig would be super hard to find. So i was gonna be an original chara persocom What do you guys think?

If a bathing suit would normally cover it, your costume needs to cover it (not counting thongs either, a real bathing suit bottom!).

Be creative, wear something you normally wouldn't wear. Stores like Value Village are great for piecing together costumes at a huge discount. Have fun with makeup too!

Your friend still has a little bit of time to save some money, $25 is so low priced for a convention. Maybe she can do some extra chores or something to earn it before the price goes up.

Post by: Kuu on June 28, 2004, 08:20:20 pm: I think it's a good idea, I had a real problem finding who I would go as, I finaly decided on Riku from Kingdom Hearts two, and I still have to find my wig. Go for it, wear your chara's costume, it should be interesting. ^.^ As SailorNaboo said though, "clean and covered"

It's mainly the outfit that says who you are, or the hair if you're one of those mad crazy characters (Is that thing on Yugi's head .. hair?)...

Post by: Kei-Kei on July 08, 2004, 12:44:52 pm: Well, that actually happened to me at Sakuracon 2003. My friend and I were supposed to go togetehr and she ended up not being able to go. I still went, and it was fun, but not as fun as it could've been, but you never know. Oh, I'll be cosplaying as Naraku from Inu-Yasha, and definetly someone from Haibane Renmei.
