Title: Fanime: Where is it at?

I've never been to Fanime and I just read that there will be some get-together for Kumoricon May 26th-29th.  Is this a con?  I've never been and I would love to know some more about it, please?

It's sudden....but I'm going to see if I can go....
I just need a decent means on getting back to Seattle, then I'll be able to go.
