I am taking suggestions for songs people would like to hear at Kumoricon this year.  A-Key Kyo has been invited to play Kumoricon'06 and are trying to pick songs to play.  You may have heard the band play around town, they play at the festivals at Uwajamaya and other Japanese culture oriented events around the portland area.  They are a cover band and they play J-Pop, anime themes, and they plan on playing Eternal Love from Katamari, etc.  

Please post with suggestions and I will see if they can play them.  Keep in mind the vocals are women, they have a keyboard, drums, two guitars, and a base.

Also dont be dissapointed if they dont pick your song to play since stage time will be most likely limited.

PS. I almost forgot A-Key Kyo has a website the link takes you to a geocities page which gives you the choice to see the english site or the Japanese site if you wanted to check it out.   http://www.geocities.com/akeykyoband/ They will put a poll on it in a few days to vote on songs, they are still taking suggestions from these forums and will continue to even after the poll is put online.

One of the songs I've always loved and wanted to hear live is Kaze Ni Naru from Neko no Ongaeshi(the cat returns) Female vocals, very simple sounding song. It's cute.

Again I’ll say that if there is going to be a Pink Lady tribute band I can be Jeff and I have no problem being pushed into the hot tub while wearing my tuxedo

To answer some questions;

I think the dance will be the same as always, they should be playing separately and I hope at different times.

We also hope we dont get the same time slot as BakaZoku.

I dont think they can play Gakt or Huey Lewis songs, sorry.

Blade was on TV today and any one remembers the nightclub scene that had two rapping Japanese schoolgirls.   For some reason whenever that is on friends call me into the room and say there ya go and then for some reason I have to look up who it is on the net.   The Song is Chin Chin By Bang Wa Cherry with DJ June and as far as I know a fake group for the movie.        some one should do a tribute group
