Alright, who's excited?!
I have a weird thing about never finishing RPGs, but I forced myself to finish the first one after several months of inactivity in preparation for this game.
Ohh I can't wait!

What I'm looking forward to the most is the Pirates of the Caribbean level. I loved that movie.
I only recently bought a PS2 and Kingdom Hearts 1 and I've been trying to beat it in between school. So far I'm past the Tarzan level.

Ohh you can do it! That game is so good, it relaly is the only game I have ever played where I actually enjoyed the voice acting!

Excited would probably be a understatement for me.
I've been waiting for this for awhile. Though I am keeping busy lately with Need For Speed Most Wanted, plus I still have yet to finished Dragon Quest 8. I told myself I wouldn't buy Dragon Quest for the FFXII demo alone, but its sure turning out that way. Gotta finished that soon. Oh, and I gotta replay KH because my memory card decided to corrupt data.
Fun times. :D

Beaten DQ8 including unlocking the hidden second ending :)
Beaten Kingdom hearts on normal and hard. plus unlocking the extended ending.
Pre-Ordered KH2 and dyin to play it. (I really need to beat the one for ghe GBA but I keep getting bored stiff playing it)

Yeah, but CoM's story factors in to KH2, so its kinda like KH1.5. You kinda gotta play CoM to understand why the chracters are where they are at the beginning of KH2.
I watched a video the other day and it showed Cloud and Sephiroth going at it, wearing their Advent Children outfits. It was awesome. Though, Japanaese Goofy sounded VERY weird. o_O

Speaking of Oblivion, I know maybe one or two people interested in it. But, factor that into the fact I live in a small town with a population under 8,000.
However, most the gamers I do know are highly geared up for KH2.
It's got Seifer. Its got Sephiroth. Its got Cloud. Its got Auron.
It's gonna rock. Unquestionably.

I bought Kingdom Hearts used sometime last year. At the time, I was very skeptical on how Disney could possibly mesh with Final Fantasy--after playing it however, I was quite impressed, despite the corniness ("Kingdom Hearts Is Light!!"). I've been checking out some previews of KH2, and it looks like it could be much better then the original--which has me wild with anticipation...
Oh, and I actually have heard of Oblivion, and while it does look fun, I don't think that it'll become as populer as KH2 is liable to be.

for those who dont like kindom hearts-- think of it this way, fianl fantasy can be a bit violent for the younger audince so getting the parents to buy it is hard, kindom hearts is like little kid friendly final fantasy, so when they get older they;ll want to buy final fantasy games that they reconize from kindom hearts...

well to me atleast Final fantasy is the core of all my gamming life and i have been addicted for as long as i can remeber, and THEY WILL KEEP MAKINGNEW GAMES IF PEOPLE KEEP BUYING THEM!, we need these young'un to keep sales up as older people stop gammeing (strange i know but it happens) so square can keep making them and i can (and others who love fianl fantasy games with the passion that burns with a 1000 suns) can keep playing them

Yes, tomorrow. If I had the gas money, I'd travel to Eugene and hit up one of those stores thats open like 24 Hours a day, and snag it then come home and play it.
Unfortunatly, I can't aford the gas, as I have siphoned that money into my Wrestlemania fund.

I was like "Wait, that was just the opening sequance?!?!" when I saw the KH2 title screen, after that Roxas crap.
Nice little couple hour long intro sequance.

the 3-5 hours intro as roxas is a way for the devs to catch people up who may have forgotten important moments from the first game of the GBA title.

I'm 10 hours into the game and almost at the Pirates of the Caribean level :3
The Roxas part wasn't just to show people what happened in KH and CoM. It serves that purpose but it also plays a part in this game. Maybe the 3-4 hours it takes to get past it was a bit long, but it was needed to some extent. You'll see ^_^ I don't wanna ruin anything else for you guys. (My sister is farther than me so I've seen some of what happens later in the game)

Yaya I beat the game in 30 hours last night, with a completion of 75% I'm gonna hit 100% by this wekend. I'm hoping that the Sepiroth fight isn't as annoying in KH2 as it was in KH, for those of you who remember DASH DASH DASH ATTACK DASH DASH DASH ATTACK.

Valor and Master are badass. Wisdom's fun once in a while but it's hard to use it in a serious battle.
Haven't gotten Final yet :o
On a more annoyed note, my PS2's laser crapped out on me. AND I'M SO CLOSE TO THE END.

Sora doesn't actually BEAT Sephiroth. Sephiroth is just like "You don't fight half bad blah blah blah" that stuff that villans always do to sound tough.
I like Valor mode, but the most I had fun maxing out was... Final or Wisdom. Because flying = win. I've beaten the game and I went back and finished the journal. What a bitch that was. -_-; Getting to level 99 was fun, though.[/size]

Yes, Sanctuary ~After The Battle~ was played at the end credits of the game. I have been trying to find it, to no avail.
An interesting note from the credits is that there is a reference to Utada's Hikari, and it's called Hikari, not Simple and Clean. I found that very interesting.
I beat the game on Normal, then I replayed on Proud. Never did finish the Journal, Jiminy is impossible to please.

Say what you will about simply watching the secret ending on YouTube, there's a very worthwhile feeling of pride that comes with beating the game and gaining the ending yourself. ;)

I think I might just screw trying to fill out Jiminy's list and just go wail on the final boss (I'm max level with Fenrir keyblade and all that jazz). I need to get back to playing Dragon Quest VIII. ...I kinda stopped that and started on KH2 when I got it. lol

I started the game on normal mode though...because I didn't quite know how much more powerful enemies would be in proud mode. ^^; And I really don't want to go back and play the entire game all over again right now. XP I already watched the weird secret ending on youtube anyway. lol

Tip for sephiroth....level up to level 99 and max out your strength and defense with items. It makes things alot easier.

You won't be able to get them, considering there's only seven of them in the game.
You need to use the item that half's the materials needed. Once you use that, you only need 7 of them. However, that means Donald and Goofy cannot get their best weapons. In my opinion, Ultima Weapon is worth it.
My favorite thing to do is duel wield Sleeping Lion and Fenrir. Totally Final Fantasy pwnage. :D

Correct. Each one takes at least one Orichalcum+ to make. However, there are only Seven in the game. If you use them to make thier weapons, you cannot make Ultima Weapon. Which, buy the time you get it, honestly, Ultima Weapon may not help much.

You can synthesize an upgraded version of each of their ultimate weapons....creating the Save the Queen+ and the Save the King+. Ultima Weapon keyblade though, has no upgrade....but it did seem to help a bit when I defeated Sephiroth. It is the second most powerful keyblade in the game after all. Fenrir is the only stronger one...which you have to beat Sephi to get.

The best part of KH2 is the insane things you can do in battle: Drive Forms, Reaction Commands, Limit Attacks, the various combinations of Abilities. By the end of the game, you're a pure being of stylish destruction.
It's biggest fault is that, because it's so story-focused, you'll find yourself watching more FMVs than fighting. One of my friends described it perfectly by saying that in the first game, you fought and were rewarded with a movie. In KH2, you watch an FMV and are rewarded with a battle.
