Title: So these are still a thing, why is the forum so dead?

How do we hear about the mini-cons if there's no discussion of them?

See, this would be a great idea! No idea why this forum has basically straight up died. I didn't even know they were doing one this year until recently. I'm gonna try to attend, but would have loved to see updates outside of the facebook page, since I don't frequent specific groups I'm in as much as I do this forum.

Seems everyone is busy with life or something not to post here in the forums. I know that the facebook group is very active, so maybe people are more into chatting per say on facebook and will get an immediate response than waiting for whomever looks at the forums to reply. Also alot of people are on vacations and working to pay for k-con and their cosplays.

In addition to heavy promotion on social media, Kumoricon Lite was announced on the front page of the website, and in our RSS feed. There are a number of RSS reader apps (NewsBlur and Feedly are two popular ones), and almost all news or announcement websites have an RSS feed.

I would love to see the forums go back to being more popular in use.  It's kind of depressing to see this place so...

...so quiet.
