As an artist aiming to be at this year's AA, I'm curious: how does non-anime fan art fare in Kumoricon? Specifically thinking of characters from Blizzard games and sci-fi movies and games (Halo, Doom, Pacific Rim, Battletech/Mechwarrior, etc). I recall seeing a fair amount of Overwatch fan art last year, and a few tiny bead art Master Chiefs.

Fairly well. As a community, we pride ourselves on being inclusive to all fandoms so we tend to get a lot of crossover fans.
