Are there any other Sailor Moon cosplayers for KCon 2006????? So far we got a Princess Serenity, Prince Diamond, Sapphire, Luna, Sailor Pluto, and a Sailor Mercury. We wanted one of our friends boyfriend who is rooming with us to go as Tuxedo Mask, lol, but he refuses.
Were thinking of doing something for the cosplay contest. (LOL) We think we know what. Would you be interested in joining us?

I might be going this year as a Vendor (if I don’t have movie work that goes into September) I have a plan to go as King Darien; I’ll put a Crown on Tuxedo Mask top hat and maybe add shoulder braids to the jacket sort of like the prince from Beauty and the beast. I have been suggesting to a friend from HS that she should take her niece and go as Sailor Moon and Mini Moon. If she does not fall for my plot to get women my age to the con in a sailor skirt I was going to suggest a queens gown like Bell’s but in the sailor moon colors. She might not want to go in a foofy girly outfit, I know she would rather be an armored warrior.
For a cosplay skit I keep having visions of a sailor moon scenario ware Crystal city is under attack and they have to hold off destruction for the time it takes to send Chiba Moon back in time, Very much like the future visions from terminator

kcon 2004 i crossplayed tuxedo masks......but i kinda run an area of programming so i don't have a lot of time
it's my favorite of all my costumes (integra hellsing a close second)

And I could be the fat old creepy King Darien (at 1500 years old I think he can have a few extra pounds) the audence is happy he dies in the the last battle for Crystal City then is replaced by a fresh new clone

Theres nothing wrong with guys watching Sailor Moon! :D In the English dub he was called Moonlight Night, I dont remember what it was, if it was differnt at all, in the original version.

I have actually never seen an episode of sailor moon or read any of the manga. The anime club started one surprise episode of the live action sailor moon, then all the guys booed and tossed snacks at the TV. I jumped up and said “Ah ha I got the color perfect when I dyed those boots this afternoon” and then they tossed stuff at me not wanting to hear about making pink boots (was it a coincidence I made pink go go boots the day of a surprise Sailor moon episode I think not, it was a sign from Nerdia the cosplay goddess)
Every one expects me to watch Sailor Moon because they hear that is the only reason men are supposed to watch anime. I had one friend who called me a pervert for watching anime (Actually my favorites are the historical anime epics or the tightly written comedies) she followed me to a TUNAC meeting at the U of O library and I found out later peeked in the window for an hour and then was accusing me of watching sailor moon because all the girsl in the show Angelic Layer had sailor girl HS uniforms
For the First Kumoricn in Eugene I had an outfit laid out to be a Soldat gunman from Noir, or a nameless Turk from FF7, or Agent Smith from Matrix but then I took a nap and missed it. I’d be King Darien because I know I can make all of it and build it off a tuxedo jacket or a Miltary tunic if I want to go my own design. And i'm trying to talk some one into go with her niece who is ordering Mini Moon outfits

that's lame that they catagorize you like that... yeah, I have a guy friend that constantly gets accused of that so now... well, it's kinda made him paranoid.... in my opinion, there are some fangirls out there that are WAY more perverted..... but then there are those certain guys *is reminded of her last con* ugh.......
sailormoon kicks ass, I love the series!!! I even remember singing along to the opening song when I was younger..... and I STILL do heheh...

There should be a show with Sailor Scout guys in Buster brown outfits and name them after all the Astaroids, I'll be earths second Moon the astaroid Cruithne. And I will have Super Sailor moves like Nap Attack.

ok well in any case, I might be showing up in my santa mars costume, I'm making an alternate fir ami, since I love them both, but yeah, I was going to bring my fruit maid costume, so I could support SC, since that is my outfit Ii will be wearing when performing my staffley duties ^_~

i dunno, sailor moon cosplay is in this really wierd place for me. the regular scouts are so overedone, im not opposed to the show/manga being an inspiration for cosplays, but its like...you dont see it allover the place like naruto cosplays but its also not "old school" yet, or "vintage" cosplay. id like to see more of the obscure badguys like sailor iron mouse that you never ever see. or like this one girl contacted me for human luna commission for sakuracon, but i didnt have the time, and i thought that was cool. yeah...sweetness

I do think that sailor Moon may be a bit overdone, but it is so classic, and even if you aren't a senshi and you use one of their other outfits, you still know who they are which is great. I have this SM website I made soo long ago, you guys should visit it and laugh come on you know you want to

I have been there too, every time I "Research" to see what King Darion looks like I end up there. I got to look right if I want to be forced into photo sessions with the chaperon aunts dressed as Queen Serenity and the Sailor Scout masters

ummmm.........if no one gos as an Ah! My goddess person like belldandy or skuld then i might do Sailor V........but im kinda tan.....ish.....tan

I will be Taiki Kou and Luna! I might possibly bust out my Tuxedo Mask costume from Sakura-Con 2006. But, I have too many other costumes already.
There will hopefully be an Artemis, (if I can find a willing participant,) a Diana, also Seiya Kou and Yaten Kou, and Minako Aino.
*grins* So, there's more to add to the list!

*jumps around*That was me! Sakura-Con Forums are the only place where I don't have the_wind_the_sea as a screen name... *coughs* The costume is currently half done and my wig is completed, as is my jewerly.
