I second Crispin Freeman. That's too bad that he wasn't at NewCon.
I did get to meet him at SacAnime a few weeks ago and told him he needs to come to more anime conventions. He said that he'd like to, but can only do it if he's invited, and that if people want him to come, they need to request him to convention staffs.
If a lot of people here want him to make Kumoricon, I recommend that you request him.

All of these names deserve to come to the Northwest. There are plenty of fans in Oregon and Washington who would love to meet them and I hope at least a few of them get a good number of requests.

I enjoyed meeting Scott at Sakura Con way back in '04 and would be more than happy to see him again. The Gundam Wing cast members clearly need to get more requests. I wouldn't mind meeting Mark Hildreth, Kirby Morrow or Brad Swaile or Ted Cole.

These are my requests here on the unofficial guest thread:
Vic Mignogna: I know some people have said he's hard to deal with. However, with all due respect, in my humble experience Vic is actually quite a good guy. I should know, let me tell a little story here. A few years back my friend Peach Wookiee was going through a bad time. Vic actually made a message I posted on my Youtube site. I can say he's a real class act.
Kyle Herbert: I'd love to have him running around putting stuff on Kyle T.V.
Scott McNeil: I've been a fan of his for years. I'd love to meet the man behind so many brilliant charcters.
Stephanie Sheh: having met her already I enjoy her personality and talking to her.
Dan Green: A marvelous voice actor.
Jeff Nimoy: Great actor and some people who are well....skilled in the culinary arts might get a few cooking tips from him. He does aafter all do cooking with caveman.
Richard Epcar: Having met Richard Epcar his sheer epicness as an actor and a person cannot eb talked about enough. he and his wife are class acts.
That's all I can think of for now. if there anymore I'll let you know.

AnimeMan73: I completely agree with what you say about Vic. I've been good friends with him for more than nine years and of all the times I've been around him at conventions, I've never once heard him say something mean or insensitive to anyone.
I don't think he deserves the criticism that he receives and it amazes me how many people buy into it.
Those who complain about him are either haters or are just troubled and the mean stuff said about him should not be taken seriously (a petition was even made to have someone else replace him after he was cast as Rin in Free!).
I won't give any names, but last year, some of the people at the Unofficial Sakura Con Group on Facebook who co-dependently have bought into that hate, treated me like I was praising Ted Bundy just for giving fair and constructive insight (that they would've heard from any Risembool Ranger, con staffer or voice actor who has worked with him) on why they shouldn't believe all that stuff.
The insane backlash I got from them was one of the things that inspired me to start doing Anime Therapy at conventions, which I'll hopefully get a chance to do at Kumoricon in the near future.

For some non-voice actor recommendations, how about LittleKuriboh and Parle Productions? LK is a really nice guy and I bet we'd be able to get him since the con is getting bigger. And Parle is usually pretty open to anything they're invited to.

If LK would be invited then Team FourStar would have to be as well. And I'd be in full favor of that.
Anyway I once again say we should invite Jamieson Price. He's one of the most underrated voices out there.

I would love to see Mona Marshall. ^ω^
She does the voice of Kite from the .Hack series, and characters from older anime like Magic Knight Rayearth and Kyo Kara Maoh. She has a huge variety of characters and is extremely talented actor.

I haven't seen much of Austin's work, but it's great seeing a newcomer being announced.
As much as I've enjoyed many of the familiar faces who have come to the con, it's a great convention that more VAs deserve to experience, so hopefully this'll be a sign that we'll get at least a couple more new faces as well.

2. I've seen Fullmetal Alchemist, but I never paid attention to the end credits, to know that Caitlin Glass provided the voice of Winry Rockbell.

People making jokes about characters is fine. It's when people keep making said jokes after learning that their audience or the subject of the jokes would appreciate it if they would stop that it becomes a problem.
Also, remember: if you are an unwilling member of an audience (a.k.a. if you hear someone joking from a distance but they're talking to their friends and not you), remember to just let it slide. Chances are they had no intention of having you hear the joke and don't wish to cause anyone to be uncomfortable. (Now, there are certain topics that just should never be joked about, but that's a different story.)

My sister really wants to meet Scott McNeil. For those who don't know who that is, voice actor of Koga from Inuyasha, Canadian VA of Piccolo from DBZ, and one of the Flimflam Brothers and [/size]Chief Thunderhooves for you MLP fans. Along with a million other things.

I'm in complete agreement about Scott McNeil. I've seen him do voice work as Captain Harlock in Galaxy Express 999 the movie, he was in Conan the Adventurer as Wrathamon to name a few, and who could forget how he worked overtime as Dinobot, Rat Trap, and Silverbolt in beast Wars. He's a great voice actor. I would LOVE to meet him.

I know right! I haven't seen a lineup that literally EVERY guest I have stuff to get signed..So odd..Usually there's like, 1 or 2 guests that I just don't have anything for, but this Kumoricon I DO..FOR EVERYONE! It's awesome!
