Title: Promoting my RPG events
Post by: MPHopcroft on August 06, 2015, 07:04:35 pm
I'm scheduled to run about 16 hours of tabletop RPGs at Kumori this year (I get final confirmation at the Saturday meeting). But since these are rather off-beat compared the the usual fare I'm probably going to have to promote the heck out of them to get players. So I'm trying to figure out where besides the forums is a good idea to do it.

Facebook seems obvious. However, some 75% (at least) of the posts in the Kumori group are related to cosplay. I don't even know if event promotion is meant to go there.

So I'm mainly looking for suggestions (and whether Facebook is appropriate)

For the record, here are the RPGGeek (great website!) pages for the games I'm planning to run.

Golden Sky Stories: Heart-Warming Roleplaying (https://rpggeek.com/rpgitem/142300/golden-sky-stories-heart-warming-role-playing)

The Schoolgirl RPG (https://rpggeek.com/rpg/26566/schoolgirl-rpg) (I believe both sessions scheduled to run after Midnight, giving me a player mix of adult age and questionable maturity)

Costume Fairy Adventures (https://rpggeek.com/rpg/23907/costume-fairy-adventures)

Save Game: A Fate World of Adventure (https://rpggeek.com/rpgitem/168118/save-game)

This is all to be confirmed in a couple of days, and none of these will be events you have to sign up for as far as I know.
