I'll be bringing some games to Kumori again this year!
Though, I learned my lesson last year that it's way too hot in the summer to meet with folks outside. So, I'll probably wander around the ground floor of the Hilton and keep an eye out for players.
Does anyone else have fun ideas they'd like to share, or is there a gathering you'd like to host to bring people together?
Feel free to post below~

what kinds of games are you going to bring valkyrie542?
-
My sister and I (Possibly with friends) will be going to Mill End and/or Fabric Depot to scope out fabrics we can't find in the Seattle Metro. Brown on brown stripes are my main goal.
-
Other than getting my badge, not a lot. I'd be fine going out if there were people that wanted to hang out. Like, out of cosplay or something (I don't have a Day 0 cosplay this year..Not enough room for one in my bags) unless it's not blazing hot, in which case I'll wear Sora most likely.
I also will have my 3DS and PS Vita with me. So I will likely be playing those if I'm outside..
EDIT:
Actually, it depends on the weather. If it's quite hot out, I will cosplay Gohan instead. If it's nice and breezy or not too hot out, I'll do Sora.
-
I'll probably be helping here and there with random last second things that need set up/entered/programmed/etc. for the con, cosplaying Haku from Naruto and taking pictures of the few random people cosplaying. AKA, the usual.

Oh geez, sorry I forgot to mention that! ^^;
I'll be bringing Zombie Dice, Apples To Apples and Pictionary Dice, for starters - since they're easier to pack and carry around with me.
But, if I find more compact games, I'll probably bring those, as well.
Maybe Cards Against Humanity? But I'm not certain.
Maybe one day I'll be able to think of a way to host an Arkham Horror game; but that would probably require a room with lots of chairs. And, I think that might require special permission from The Hilton, so that may be more thought out for next year or something...

all those games sound very fun! where is everyone gonna meet up to play?
-
I'll try to keep an eye out for you! I wish there was more that went on that day

I'll personally be wandering around The Hilton, I know that lots of people like to hang out there because of the space, air conditioning, and cafe - so I'll keep an eye out and ask if anyone is interested in playing! ^^

Oh, I do too, it's unfortunate. :/
Hmm, maybe someone could organize a Day 0-type squad that plans events? ("Day 0 Brigade", eh? It's something to think about, but no promises.)
But, I'll be looking forward to seeing you there, here's to hoping!

This will suck - I will be in surgery over Day Zero.
I will be a Zombie AMV Dude over Saturday, but I will try to use my laptop from bed to cook up the winners announcement vid in time for Closing Ceremonies. Joe and I will be exchanging info electronically so I should be able to assist remotely.
I hate needles, and I hate stitches - coming in or going out.
In case I hadn't mentioned before.
No, my sweeties' wonderful machines cannot do anime embroidery stitches on me.
Uggh.

For Day 0 I have a bit of a ritual. I get my hotel room, then go for a walk around the facilities so I can get my bearings as to where things are, pay a visit to SUBWAY to grab something to eat. And Valkyrie542, if I find you this old school anime fan may just cehck you guys out if I find you. I don't exactly play any of those games but I may stop by just to see what you're doing.

Hey guys, so on Day 0 I will be doing something a littler different, but will involve you, my fellow cosplayers. I nw have a great camera and mic, and will be conducting cosplayer interviews.
I posted a thread in the cosplay forum for it:
https://www.kumoricon.org/forums/index.php?topic=19199.0
It got popular fast..lol
Anyway, There's a good chance you'll see me as either
Sora from Kingdom Hearts 2 (but with a really good Kingdom Key instead of Ultima):

Or Gohan from DBZ (However, the outfit and my makeup will look like I've been fighting):

If you see me and you want to be interviewed, you may ask me, I likely will not have a problem with it, unless I'm on my way to get my badge or another interview.
I also have some interviews that will be pre scheduled, so those will be listed in the first post of that thread I linked above. As long as it's not round then, or getting my badge, I'll likely be free.
I will be uploading them to my YouTube page (which is pretty barren, so I hope to get enough videos up within the next month or 2 to start getting out there):

Oh buddy, I'm real sorry to hear that! :/
I hope you'll have a safe operation and a swift recovery!

Sounds like a plan, it's always great to get out and explore!
And, if you do stop by, it'll be good to meet you.
Also, folks, I might also bring a tennis ball or something in case anyone wants to play outdoors; but, I have some doubts since it was pretty hot last year. But, we'll see!
