Sorry if this is already a topic, I cauldn't find it. But I would like to know what the age limit is to stay in a hotel room.
-
I dont know what the specifics on this hotel is, but to reserve a room you have to be at least 18. A lot of places wont do it unless your 21 and a few that even force the age of 25. Best bet, call the hotel. When it comes to staying in a room that is under someone elses name you shouldn't have any problems.
Just remember only 4 to a room.

Thanks a lot! So I guess it would be alright if a parent booked a room, checked in, but just left me and my friends there?
-
Yes. But remember, if you're under 18 at the time of the con, you will need a parental consent form, and a designated guardian that is 18 or over. If anyone is under 13, they need a legal guardian to be with them at ALL times.
In both cases, the Guardian must also be a paying con attendant.
The main thing a hotel is looking for when you reserve a room is a valid credit card. They'll also check ID when you check in.
We can ask the hotel and get that information posted under the hotel information section of the site.
Thanks!

Oh, okay. Thanks a lot! That really helped.

Actually, for the last two years, I have had my mom give me guardianship over myself. It allows my mom to do studff she likes without being freaked out by con goers.
-
I really don'y think that is what was intednted by the polices. I thought it was a safety thing???

yeah, last year my mom just booked me a room and signed the gaurdianship form for me to be held responsibe for myself... I was with some friends so it wasn't a big deal.... and the people who worked there were so protective... they were so nice ^__^
