From my experience, the weather forecast doesn't get reliable until a few days before, but it doesn't hurt to look now and see how it changes. I agree - sunny would be nice! Ironically, it was never anything but sunny and clear in the two Kumoricons I went to before. XD

Sunny is nice. Sunny and 80+ not so much.

Yeah, it can get hot if it's 80+ degrees out, and it often is - but thankfully there's a lot of shade in the park too, so it doesn't completely ruin everything. :D

Being close to the river helps also. I'm hoping for partly overcast myself, but even if it's sunny, there tends to be a pretty pleasant breeze coming off the river (or, I assume it's from the river).

How about cloudy and warm, but not 90 degrees "warm".

It was sunny and 70 to low 70s here today - I'm kind of far from Vancouver, but it would be GREAT if it was this weather for Kumoricon. :D
Right now the forecast I'm looking at says mid to high 80s for Kumoricon, but from what I've seen, the forecast tends to overestimate the temperature, so hopefully it is a bit cooler by the time the convention rolls around.

www.accuweather.com says very similar things, with the most significant difference being that Saturday may have a couple of thunderstorms.

Whew, that does sound pretty hot to me! O_O
I remember that the heat was awfully vicious last year and the year before that so I have no doubts that it'll be fairly bright outside.
Just be sure to drink plenty of water as you're walking around, and I also bought a pretty folding fan at the steampunk vendor's booth last year and it really came in handy!
