Hey guys, Who would be interested in a cosplay meet up/photoshoot at Kumoricon?
I was thinking Saturday at 2:30 PM -- Clocktower.
I have made an event on Facebook for those who would like to rsvp/add it to their schedule

I changed the event time from 5:00 to 2:30 to avoid pile-up with the Fairy Tale Group ;D

Last year there was a photoshoot at a pool. I was curious on how one went about getting permission to or whether or not some people had access through having a hotel key and whether or not they just let their friends in to the pool with said key? I'm asking for a different photoshoot that may wish to do the same thing.

I don't think they had permission, and that's not allowed either way. You can organize a private shoot at the pool of the hotel you're staying at and get permission yourselves-- but we can't organize photoshoots at a hotel or on hotel property that isn't covered by the kumoricon event space without hotel permisison, or for a large group at all. If it's not in the event space, its not in the guidebook.
Either way, this is a large gathering, there are atleast 30 people coming now as I know of and I don't think we would be welcome squeezing into their pool for a photoshoot.

I was more asking what they did last year. I'm asking on behalf of a different group for information purposes.
Technically none of the photoshoots posted here in the forums are official ones unless they're advertised by kumoricon themselves. It would obviously be between the group and the hotel, but I'm asking how the Free group went about it last year.
