Hello all! This is Ale as Prussia and once again I'm starting the planning for Kumoricon's main Hetalia photoshoot. Post here any suggested dates and time for the shoot and who you're planning on attending as! This year we'll be meeting in Turtle Place Park because of the hassle from last year's location (I'm really, really sorry about that everyone!)

It'll be nice seeing either of those nations! Especially when it concerns one of the ladies of Hetalia.

I may come. It all depends on what day it is and the time. Hopefully it won't be as hot as it was last year the day we decided to have this shoot xD

Also it occurred to me that if I brought OC! North Korea back, I can do either a military uniform OR a hanbok, whichever would be preferable. Actually the hanbok is looser fitting and probably more comfortable at Kumori than the uniform..

If I attend, I will try my best to come. It all depends on the day though, as I'm only staying for two days. (I'm not sure which yet). As I don't have much money, I will only be able to make a couple cosplays. So is it okay if I don't come dressed as a Hetalia character?

Yeah.. Again, my apologies about that. This year we'll be meeting at the large pavillion in the park, so we'll be in the shade.

Once I get the schedule for Kumoricon I'll make a poll with dates and times that would work without interfering with big panels and events~

Don't be sorry, you made the best of it! Plus the location was nice, the weather just didn't cooperate was all. That and it was me wussing out haha.
For this year I'd like to vote Sunday! (Mostly because my friend and I are missing the first day(s) of the con *sob*) Location I have no preference. :D
I'll most likely wear my "pirate" Spain for a meet.

I will hopefully be there as Nyo-Canada! It was hot last year, but hopefully with it being in the shade, that it will help if it does get that hot again. All we can really do is cross our fingers with the weather, you never know what it's going to be like xD

Not sure which day yet, but I'm going as France (Austrian Succession ver.) and my gf and bff are gonna be tagging along as Spain and Prussia, also Austrian Succession ver. We'd love to make it to the meetup/photoshoot!

We'll have two photoshoots this year: one on Friday and one on Sunday.
The location is going to be a bit different than last year's and this year's tentative location. New location is Turtle Place Park, which is on 7th and Washington/Main Street. It's away from Esther Short Park and all of its activities and has trees, so there should be a little bit of shade.
Exact times will be set in stone once the schedule is out so nothing overlaps with Hetalia panels nor main events.

If things go well, I may will be there as Ukraine again, though I may will end up doing a more casual costume this time. (Sadly, I didn't get time/materials to revamp my 'oficial' costume and I'm not killing myself with those boots again. I like being able to walk.)

I'll be there again this year as Germany (Blue Uniform like last year and WW1 pilot), and my boyfriend's coming as Russia again. Let me know which day you're planning to be Afrika Korps, I have everything but the boots and a hat, but we should totally get pictures if we can!
The Park sounds great, I'm not sure what times to suggest yet unfortunately; I'll post again after I've had a chance to look and that'll help a bit hopefully.

Here are the times for the shoots: Day 1 will be at 1730 and Day 3 at 1230.
I'll be passing out information cards with the shoot times and location on them throughout con.

I'll be there as Casual Ukraine Friday, but I won't be able to make it on Sunday. I can't wait to see everyone again!

I hope to be doing fem!Russia but I still need to find a scarf >w< so I'm unsure. But I'm trying my best to make it happen :o

Has anyone posted the photo shoots (esp. day 1)? I'm hoping to get at least one decent group pic with me (Ukraine) in it. My phone/camera died halfway through the shoot. I have pictures posted on my FB if anyone is interested.
