Ok so I am sooooo excited for kumoricon 2014!!!! This will be my first convention and I have been so excited because I have wanted to go to a convention like since forever!!! I know im not the only one whose excited! Anyone else going whose around 14??? :D :o :P ;D

I feel like the happiest person alive because I can go this year. I surely thought that financially, k-con wasn't going to work out, but since I'll be working this summer, I have some money to contribute to my friend if i go with her or for my mom when we get a hotel to stay at. Really excited!

What I do is find a cheap-ish hotel near con instead of using the hotel they are hosted at. It's just so much easier.

It is. One year my mom really wanted us to stay at the hilton and I really wanted to as well, to switch cosplays midday much more easily. It wasn't a problem for us and last year there were no rooms so we stayed at another nice hotel about 10 minutes away. I think it was in Portland but whatever. I'm not sure if I'm joining with my friend and her mom for the con or if shes going with me and my mom, so hotel-wise I have no idea. We may just get a cheaper hotel but who knows?

Yeah, I still have a bit over half of my cosplays to finish. I can't believe how fast this summer is already going though. It does seem like Kumoricon's right around the corner. :)

I've gotta finish Jane soon..x) I've got the shirt, wig and shoes. Just need to find my glasses and get the rest (skirt, slightly style the wig, socks..etc) Gamcon is almost a week away (although my signature says Yui, Yui wont be happening for then :c ) >-< So I think I'll get the socks, hopefully find the glasses (if not ill buy new ones), and just wear a different skirt. Then I can finish Jane before K-con.

I have pretty much all of two costumes still to make.
But, I always procrastinate until the last couple weeks and get everything done last minute.
Because that's totally how you get things done effectively, lol.
But Barret and Ox King will be showing up, consarnit. I'm excited to bring these bros to Kumoricon.

All my costumes are in pieces right now (my warden is just fabric and paint, but I've got all the materials beyond what I need for the ears), but this is possibly my sister's last Kumoricon for a while, since she's leaving for Japan in August. She's been the glue that holds one of my cosplay groups together, so it's going to be a bittersweet year for me :(
