Title: Not sure if I signed up correctly
Post by: Penguin4478 on February 08, 2014, 10:27:41 am
So for winning a tournament last year (2013), I was given a pre-registration sheet for this year with someone's signature on it or something saying the registration was for free. I mailed it in with all the stuff I needed to turn in, but I never got a response. I'm supposing people who signed up online got some receipt or something from ticketbud or whatever it's called confirming that their transaction went through, but since I mailed it in I haven't heard anything at all from Kumoricon.

Does this mean that they didn't get my registration form, or somehow it didn't go through? I'm a bit worried considering I don't really have a way of confirming so far since they don't mail badges out anymore.

If you email registration@kumoricon.org, they will be able to confirm your status.

Is there an ETA on how long we should wait for a reply from the registration@kumoricon.org email before we start getting concerned about a lack of response? (For the record it's only been a few days for me, but I'm just curious if it's like, a week/two week average, basically how long should I wait before getting concerned about a lack of reply, if it gets to that.)

Well, the first reply I got from them took 2 weeks. I responded back and I'm still waiting for their reply again, and it's been about 1 week or so.

Thanks Penguin, good to know not to expect anything for a while. It means I can stop checking every day for a little while!
