Hi All!
Are you interested in working for Publicity? Do you like talking and interacting people? Do you want to feel a swell of pride when we cram as many attendees as humanly possible into a hotel, because you know half of them wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for you?
Then join Publicity!
E-mail me at
zac@zoph.net
or post a reply here.
I am still working out the Positions but they should be good to go by the end of this weekend. But please e-mail me ASAP if you are interested. Publicity is one of those things that starts work now so we can't afford to slack off = )
Thanks!

Everybody help Zac get the word out! Post here if you want in, have some ideas, questions, whatever.

I might be able to arrange a sort of show-and-tell as it were for the local high schools in my own hometown, hit some of the high-traffic areas and such.

Here is the publicity staff layout

wow, neato! i am clueless when it comes to how to make computer graphics.
what about adding "beta readers" to the con book team?
if you do so, that would be one of the places i aspire to be of assistance to you.
another might be the copy editor slot....depending on how many folks you want for that slot, and how you intend to contact them, and how often.
-
oh yeah some of these positions have mulitple people can be for. Like the Copy Editiors will read the Con book as well, and we can have alot of thoes, (you can never have to many) but some things like the cord Positions just have one person. I will update the image with that info = )

great, thanks, i look forward to the potential to be of service.

Updated = )

i like that you have updated the boxes, but i note there is still no copy editor for the con book. or is that one of its layout assistants?
-
I think I've largely been responsible for web conent up till this point and would like to continue to be so.

=^O.O^=
I was going to ignore typos, but I think I have to bring this one up...
"Kon Lesion" has to be an error... particularly in the quantity "many." I don't think we need that many festering pus-filled boils. I'm assuming you mean either "liaison" or "legion," but I'm not sure which. I'm just pretty sure you don't mean lesion.

I believe he means Liaison. =P

The sad part is I didn't even see your sn or the cat face before I read the post and though "that has to be pezcat..."

Sorry this was hastly typed up during class. I will repost it again with less typos and wild spellchecking errors
::Edit this is why I need many copy editors ^^::

Alright, I have made the corrections to the Chart and will be posting the new version here shortly, at least as soon as get back on campus = )
Thanks!

i read the boxes and i see stuff that involes computers  , i can help as long as it dosen't involes computers cuz i have very little knowlage of tech stuff and computers tend to expload :( when i handle them tho people like hearing about how i learned about ddr thru anime cons and lost 100lbs playin it :D
-
Congratulations Jaz! That is amazing!
There are plenty of things you can do for publicity, without any computers exploding. Like distributing posters and flyers, and researching local anime groups (though a computer would help on that).
-
I would love to distribute flyers! Gimme some and I'll spread the word!
