Anyone? There seemed to be a lot last year, espically military personel.
I'll be going as Edward Elric for one day then Winry Rockbell the other two. Or I mught go as Winry all three days, I havn't decided yet. Oh I'll be going as Travleing Winry. ^_^

I will have my Greed and possibly Hughes, though each will only be for a day of the con. I'll have others for other days.

A few of my friends and I were going to go as the Homunculi for Sakuracon next year, but that may be pushed to Kumoricon. 8) We're doing something else for Sakuracon, so we may still do it then.

A few of my friends and I were going to go as the Homunculi for Sakuracon next year, but that may be pushed to Kumoricon. 8) We're doing something else for Sakuracon, so we may still do it then.

Well I'm Going As Edward Elric. . .(Dang theres alot of Ed's)
My sister is planning on wearing an all silver dress suit with a long silver trenchcoat. . .with the Elric Symbol on the arm in Red. . .with a Silver mob hat with a white feather that come out of the top (For Al's little hair frill comeing out of the Helmet) And then she's going to paint her face silver add the deatail of the amour and wear red contacts and such. . .
Then she had Bells that will be attached to her ankle and hidden by silver boots that make her jingle and clank like our Stelth Alphonse Can. . .
She's also going to be Barry the Chopper
and I'm probably also Going to pull off Roy Mustang, Winry Rockbell
If I can. . .lol
But I hope to see you all there next year. . .

I missed the Photo Session For FMA at Kumoricon. . .*Sobs*
My costume is a really clean cut Edward Elric it's very crisp and clean I dunno how to Expalin it I'll half to take A picture to see if anyone saw me. . .I went pretty full out. . .Only thing is I didn't like the wig >.<
It was to Fluffy and sticked up to much!!!! I was going to use my own hair I had taken forever to get my bangs to grow out. . .But My bangs got cut and I was super MAD!!!! cause it was to late before I realized my hair dresser had cut my bangs and I was like %$*# this can't be happening. .. The wig was a last resort! No one got my picture at the con besides the the Staff Alchemist's and A little girl who Wanted me to take a picture with her. . .(SHE WAS SO CUTE!!!) she tugged on my costume and was like
"Edward can I take a pic with you"
I loved it!!! thats the best when People want to take pics with you. . .
I didn't know who they were but they said There daughter was looking for the right Ed to take a pic with and yeah!!! I made three People happy!!!

Oh Last con I was Edward Elric, Chrono (Chrono Crusade) Li Syorian (Card Captors) and Hige (Wolf's Rain) I worked over time
Good I'm 5'6-7 That would work Perfectly we are the right Height. . .
I half to get my Costume finished to the Roy one. . .lol and the wig unless I dye my hair black and cut it short. . .lol

No just have old costumes from years past. . .That I never finished that I'm decideding to finish now. . .LOL no I'm not loaded I just save up lots of Money. . .I have a jar in my room and in bi bold letters on the side it says

And I have alot of money in it I have 700$ in it right now for my Roy Mustang costume after that it's back to saveing up. . .or Asking for a costume for my Birthday or Christmas like I did. . .I do that every year so that usally all I get is a new costume if thats what I want. . .lol

okay now I know this has nothing to do with cosplay, but it's about the show.... I FINALLY GOT TO SEE EPISODE 13!!!!! .... I love roy, he's awesome.... especially when he gets out of character.
Oh, and I had another dorky otaku moment. I was in chemistry and as soon as the bell rang (and the students quieted down) the teacher slowly stepped in front of the class and said, "today class, we will practice alchemy." I nearly fell out of my chair..... I'm such a nerd, ain't it great?

I'm 5'8" as well, but I already have the costume of Ed from the anime and couldn't afford another costume, but trust me its okay being a tall Ed... they go right ahead and call you chibi anyway... Even people who are shorter than you o_o

is it just me or the idea of a tall ed is very funny? as in sooo suiting fora con, its like i had a friend who said if he cosplayed he'd only go as ed and hes over 6ft, and i was like a tall ed cool i get it, and he was like get what and i'm like i get it and another friend was ohh i get it and tall one was like...my height i can't do anything to change it what do you get??

Okay... theres no way that was the last episode!!! I checked another episode guide and they said there were more, but only one more!
BUt at the same time, last night the opening was slightly differnt like it was gonna end and they played more of the closing and didint show a preview for another episode. Is there like another season or something? I dont see how there could be but at the same time i cant see that as the last episode.
Can anoyone whose seen the whole series ahead of the dub tell me the name of the last episode or how many there are after the episode called, "Death"
Please no spoliers, i hate those when im really into a series, just how many episodes there are left or if you only know the name of the last one and the title doesnt give away the plot or anything.
This is how the epsidoe last night "Death" ended:
Ed comes back from inside the gate to see Al on a circle and then he fights with "Envy" I think.The one with the green hair that is supposedly ed's and al's brother with the same dad but differnt mom. So he morphs into a fac that shocks Ed and he cant fight. Then he gets plunged starit trough the heart and falls to the ground bleeding. Then Al screams "ED!!" And the episode is over.

According to Adult Swim.com there are three more episodes and the last one is"Sin." Is that right everyone? Cause after that they start to replay them.

hey a lot of the fanfics that have been turned in for the SAKURACON fanfic contest have been about FMA. which means some of the stories that will be read aloud at fanfiction bedtime stories at sakuracon will be about FMA.
which means that the creation station (room 206) will be looking for FMA cosplayers....in hopes someone will COSPLAY one of those fics as fanfic theatre!

OHHH!! I see now!!! Adult Swims schedule they posted includes the re-runs as well! I went back to look and I was wondering why a couple of those days wernt Saturdays. So there is only one more episode, next Saturday, called "Sin".

AOV (Anime Oasis V) had almost the whole Homunculi group. I think we were only missing Wrath and Sloth, though I do believe that the chick who played Lust was also Sloth, but I'm not sure...She was Lust in the Battle Cosplay, that's all I know. O_O

I'm the Roy mustang of my group at school, and I'm gonna get a job and buy the stuff to try and cosplay as him. I might also have to make a Hawkeye one too. ;_; It'll be so hard for me to make two. I've never officially cosplayed as somebody before.

It's still not translated, and won't be for a while -- can be found on www.youtube.com (It seems to be separated into parts, and supposedly called "Fullmetal Alchemist: Conquer of Shambala"...Oh...I havn't been able to spend much time outside of school looking for it, so I don't know if there's a subtitled part, but all I've been able to find is in Japanese with no subs. O_O;; ) I don't know all that much, except for what my frinds in Ichidan ( An Idaho cosplay group. www.ichidan.com/ )said, and what Vic told everybody. I havn't researched it all that much, and concidering the fact that for the past four years have been looking further into NGE doesn't help. ^^;; But if you have any questions, feel free to PM me. I might be going as a FMA charrie...not sure who yet, though. I tend to change who I want to be waaay too much...D8
But if I'm a FMA charrie, I'll be bringing 2-3 others with me that are FMA charries, too.
We should have a photoshoot or some kind of gathering. :P And plan it in a few months...or whenever the schedule comes out.

Your dad is badass. LOL We talked with you guys outside of the cosplay skits at Sakuracon this year for a bit. I was the FMA Hughes turned Quagmire in Bakazoku. ^^
I MIGHT wear Hughes for Kumoricon again...but growing out the facial hair is a real annoyance. XP

Howdy all!
I was wondering if a gathering time and place has been set up for a photoshoot for all the FMA cosplayers? If it has where and when?
I am planing on wearing my Mei Chan* costume on the first day of the con. If there isn't an established time for a photoshoot I would like to plan a time to meet up with as many FMA cosplayers on day one for a group photo.
Let me know what you guys think.
(*Mei Chan is an FMA manga only character. She makes her first appearance in Vol 8.)

I'm probably only going to wear my Greed on Monday this year..maybe for a bit during one of the other two days, but I'm not sure yet.

I will be Pajama Hughes at some point....though I won't have the full facial hair like I normally do when cosplaying Hughes (it's itchy and annoying to grow out...and none of my other costumes require it XP). But it's pink chickie pajamas...enough said...so I have to wear it again. lol
