Hey everyone. So no FMA Shoot this year (2013) and I saw plenty of folks running around to include a Maez Hughes with an adorable little girl and a photo frame. My question to you all is this: Is there enough interest in setting up an organized photoshoot for next year or am I wasting time by trying this out?

I was saddened by not having an FMA photo shoot as well. I'll be bringing my daughter and photo frame again next year in hopes of there being one. :)

I'm a big fan of the "if you do it, they will come" school of thought. I'm going to try to do Hawkeye or Lan Fan this year. I'd vote for a morning (10-12) or afternoon (4-8) shoot to avoid the lunch hour :)

I would be there for sure! My mother, brother and I are (hopefully) going as the Elric family of Trisha, Alphonse, and Edward this year.

I am definitely open to taking charge of running a photoshoot as my fiancee and I will be there as Mustang and Hawkeye for sure. I suppose I'll wait until next year actually starts to look at getting a head-count and setting up possible times.

Sounds fun! I'm going as GreedLing and my friend is going as normal Ling from Brotherhood. We're only going one day, most likely Friday.

What day do people think would work best? Sunday? Saturday? Friday?

How about 4pm at the Clocktower on Friday and (since half of the others listed are also doing multiple ones) a 4 pm at the Clocktower on Sunday as well?

Sounds good to me! Sorry for this question, but I'm not familiar with the area :P where exactly is the Clocktower? Is it part of the hotel?

The clocktower is in Esther park, just north of the Hilton. It's pretty obvious when you get there and see it, but if you want to scope it out ahead of time, Google maps has some photos of the tower in the park area. :)
I'm going to submit it to the list, but if we end up needing a different time slot, we can always change it later.

I moved the Friday and Sunday shoots as they both conflicted with major events for those days (especially the Friday one, which was right in the middle of the AMV contest).
New times:
5:30 pm at the Clocktower on Friday and
1 pm at the Clocktower on Sunday
If those don't work for people let me know and we can look for a different time that works better.
