Oh, and almost forgot - the Ninjas of the Night presented their own special "favorite skit of NOTN" prize to Cats on Mars. (the prize was a gift certificate for them to use to go out for milkshakes). So sweet!

Chibi Sailor Moon and Chibi Jack Frost *SQUEEEEEE*

I still can't get over how Sailor Moon and Jack Frost were upstaging everyone on the stage during the awards. So cute!

The Jack frost was so cute!
Most Gutsy Cosplayer: Emma Herdener
I'll say! It was a really well made costume, must have taken forever to make! Was really funny but sad my older brother went to get us some drinks (after long line and all the water stations in the room and outside lobby area were empty) and he loves Bleach and missed her walk on.
Tho when I saw it I wasn't sure if it would be allowed per the kumoricon dress code, but looking at it, it says breast side need to be covered, nothing about the breast undersides ;)

I had so much fun judging the skits. I really hope I can again next year *3*

How do you get picked to be a judge?

How do you get picked to be a judge?
I am guessing that the fact she has amazingly l33t cosplay making skillz might have something to do with it,
here is her FB page, check it out!

This was a very fun experience and I'll definitely be entering next year!!
Who would I want to contact for a costume's eligibility to be entered as a workmanship-judged piece? I'm in a tricky situation with one of mine and I want to check with someone about it.

JAZ YOU ARE WAY TOO KIND. Normally they ask the guests of honor if they want to but it sounds like none of them wanted to. I guess I got asked because I knew the other two judges. It was a huge honor.

Just edited the listing to add the following:
"Oh, and almost forgot - the Ninjas of the Night presented their own special "favorite skit of NOTN" prize to Cats on Mars. (the prize was a gift certificate for them to use to go out for milkshakes). So sweet!"
I didn't want to forget about mentioning that.

I loved being a part of the contest. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, and so supportive of each other! It was a lot of fun watching everyone perform. Can't wait for next year!
-
Thanks for hosting the contest and being so awesome at it! (:
You guys rock! (: <3
Also, congrats to the winners! I can't wait for next year!!
-
Question! When should we expect the photos take at judging? (:
-
I wish I knew! I haven't seen or heard from the photographer since Kumoricon. Hopefully, I'll find him and be able to let you guys know where to find them.
