Alright, guys, KumoriCon draws near, and with it, I want to hear where you're coming from for the con! Let's hear you out!
---
Myself, Anacortes, which is a town just an hour and a half north of Seattle. :)
-
Good ole Yakima. xD
-
Hubbard Oregon
-
Nahcotta, Washington far far away by the ocean. Just over an hour to Seaside, OR though ;3
-
SE Portland/Gresham...so about a 25-30 minute drive to the Hilton/Red Lion. Wished I could have registered earlier to get a room just to save gas and not have to contend with traffic each day, but I suppose the peace and quiet of my own place saves my sanity and wallet at the end of the day.
-
Pacific, Wa. Fun fun place >.> Yea....This place freaking SUCKS!!!!
-
Goldendale (old-and-stale) WA. About a 2 hour drive.
-
Vancouver, WA
a leisurely 15 min drive from my house with no hotel bills to pay ;)
-
Marysville WA. About 45 mins north of Seattle.
-
From Beaverton, 5 mins away from uwajis, so we don't really feel a Japanese snack draw at con
-
I'm coming from somewhere near Woodinville, WA, so it's about a 3ish-hour drive down to the con. C:
-
Vancouver, Washington c:
But garfieldelric, you're from Anacortes? My grandparents live there currently c: beautiful place -nods-

Similar boat here.
Though the past two years of attendance, I've come up from NorCal. This is a relief if I've ever felt one.
-
Vancouver, WA. It takes about half an hour to walk to the hotels from my place, unless I'm in my high heels (then I just take the bus).
Goldendale (old-and-stale) WA. About a 2 hour drive.
...I like it up there.

With pride I say I shall come from Southeast Portland out near Gresham. And I'll have a professional driver (well at least retired anyway, heh.) bring me.
-
I am from beaverton Oregon but spent the last year in El salvador, I remember how fun Kumoricon was so I decided to come back when Kumoricon stared
-
Hillsboro. So glad Kumoricon is close so I didn't have to get a hotel... can't sleep for crap in hotels :(

I definitely know what you mean...I'm only comfortable sleeping in my own bed, I know the feel of my bed as opposed to hotel beds that usually have...less than desirable factors about them. Not going into detail there...

Beaverton, Oregon. Got myself a hotel room at the Hilton. Check-in Saturday. Check-out (and post Kumoricon meltdown) Monday.
-
Downtown Portland. Only ~15 minutes away, but we still get a room. We frequent the late-night panels, and sometimes one of us needs a nap or is ready to crash when the other isn't. Also, I'll be doing some serious staffing this year, so it totally pays to stay close the entire weekend. Besides, I prefer to completely immerse myself in Con. They just wouldn't understand back at my apartment..... ;D
-
West Seattle! ;D And we're doing a rideshare with a guy from Kent.http://www.fractaldragon.etsy.com (http://www.fractaldragon.etsy.com)

Why's that? (not arguing, I'm just wondering why you like it)
