Title: DIR EN GREY - U.S. tour for Nov. 2013.
Post by: neko_goes_nyaaa on July 17, 2013, 04:17:33 am
They're trying to make up for the tour w/ Asking Alexandria that got canceled
(due to Kyo's surgery) but it looks like for the second time they've forgotten
that Portland exists, even though we always give them a big turn out.

For any of you that stopped liking Dir en grey because their sound
"got too thrashy" go check out "The Unraveling." Lotsa good old stuff.
Anyways, if there are any other fans here who feel miffed by the lack
of a Portland venue date, I would appreciate your joining me in calling
or emailing our local venues. Haytham is a pretty cool guy and I'm sure
he'd try and get Diru on the bill at the Roseland, and if that doesn't work
then we try Hawthorne (the December '08 show was there, and it was
a friggin' blast.) Also Mike Thrasher is usually the guy behind Diru shows
out here, so calling / emailing or dropping a line on his FB would also help.

^Cool....

Still wish they weren't -leaving Portland out-
kinda weird when you consider all three times
we've given them a good turn out.

I certainly hope this isn't because of the incident
during the 2010 show where some rather pushy
fangirl decided to invade their tour bus. Punishing
the whole of PDX for the actions of one or a few,
I would like to think they'd not do such a thing.
