This is also a really good point to add, if you are cosplaying homestuck:
MAKE SURE TO SEAL YOUR BODY PAINT!!

No one likes to have your paint on their body right after you hugged them. Some good methods are using baby power, Hairspray (a little bit so your face and limbs aren't stiff), and especially final seal from Ben Nye! Its worth the little extra cash and it works greatly!

this. of if for whatever reason you can't get a sealer then at least warn people "hey I might rub off on you literally" so you don't stain anyone's costume. I had to be really careful with my Greed-ler gloves sense they had a habit of leaking green.

That list can apply to all fandoms, not just Homestuck.

A cosplay-photo shoot that went out of control with photographers physically fighting with each other…in the lobby.

I kind of what to ask how the heck something like this even happens.

And really, most of that list applies to everyone.

Running down the halls and tackling people at top speed, claiming it's a glomp <- that should be added to the list.

Yes the Glomping needs to be toned down, I nearly fell over when a girl half my size glomp tackled me from behind, that same day I saw someone fall over from another random glomp tackle. A less aggressive glomp and one where eye contact is made before would be nice so the person can prepare for it. Also is there any other types of sealers on the market and how do you apply it?

True enough its not like con is a full weekend game of Tackle Glomp Football. Glomp circles is one thing, but in the halls jeez. XP

I can understand this completely. I've seen some crazy stuff at Kumricon and Sakuracon.  I understand that the hotels want to have clean rooms. But unfortunately, we can't stop other people from being stupid. What we can do, however, is put ourselves at a higher standard of behavioral quality that the hotels will appreciate.
