So! I thought I'd bring up my home town con on the forums!
 
Kuroneko con in spokane washington. This will be its fith year and they've just gotten a spot at the convention center, this will be their first time there. I'm really excited for it.

I'm really interested in this con, I may have to get a badge for it~! It's going to have to take some planning for me, because I live in Portland and my parent don't want to drive me, but I'll figure it out. I hope to see you there, if not this year, next year!

How far away is this from let's say.....Portland? Or Seattle & Vancouver?

From Portland, drive East along I-84.  Once you reach the Umatilla/Hermiston area, you'll reach an exit onto I-82.  Travel North-by-Northeast into the Tri-Cities area, then towards Spokane.  Total, you're looking at about 350 miles, and about 5 1/2 - 6 hours worth of driving.
