The Dollars were originally created by Mikado Ryuugamine as a joke, but later he discovered that the organization had grown far beyond his original plan. All of the original founders were frightened of it and deserted the project, except for Mikado. As the gang became more popular, people began using their gang affiliation in order to commit crimes and do wrong. Despite this, Mikado suggested that members start doing good deeds around the city, and as a result these actions were displayed on television (news). Invitations to join the Dollars ceased, as Mikado had decided to stop, but the gang continued to grow relentlessly as a result of Izaya Orihara continuing to send out invitations. Rumors began to spread about the Dollars, profiling them as one of the most mysterious and potentially dangerous gangs in the city.

UPDATE
The Durarara!! photoshoot will take place on Day 2 (Sunday) at 6:30pm at the clocktower. We will meet as early as 6:30 and wait at least 5 minutes for cosplayers making their way to the shoot from the Cosplay Competition or other panels. The shoot will go on for as long as it needs to (no longer than 30-45 minutes, most likely).

(its a darker shade of blonde. the light just made it look super white :c)

I'm half tempted to do Saki too, but this is only if I cut my hair (though, I wont be wearing any of the clothes she is seen in).

I might show up as Izaya on day 0. Pretty likely, hes my go to for day 0's, But ive got 4 other cosplays im planning so maybe not.

With less than a month until the con, it's time to start deciding when to have the Durarara!! photoshoot. If the shoot that I organized for Sakuracon is any indication, then Day 2 in the evening (5pm-7pm) would work best. Does anyone have any objections, or does this sound like an appropriate time to hold our photoshoot?

I have a couple objections. My cosplay plan is set to have me cosplaying as Shizuo Heiwajima on day three. Also, I wanna see the cosplay contest. *punches my computer screen in a fit of rage*

After looking over the schedule, I think that 6pm on Day 2 would work the best. It gives people enough time to prepare for the dance afterward (having it at 7pm would have made the rush to get ready even more strenuous), and it should give us just the right amount of setting sun to get that Durarara!!/Ikebukuro feel. I'm requesting the 6pm time slot in the photoshoot now, so I hope to see you all there!
(If necessary, I may make a Facebook event in order to draw more people to the shoot.)

First of all, in regard to the photoshoot date and time, 6:00 or 6:30 sounds good to me.
Secondly, my cousin and I are making a cosplay change. Instead of us being Fem!Izaya and Fem!Shizuo, we got our wigs and decided to do regular Izaya and Shizuo~.

The changes to the lineup have been made, TheMadHattress.
The current plan is to meet at 6:30pm on Day 2. The question now is where. Should we have the shoot in the gazebo, at the clocktower, by the playground, or somewhere else? With less than two weeks until the con, we need to decide as quickly as possible.

Not sure where you saw the one for Saturday, but yes, there is a photoshoot on Sunday at 6:30pm. The info is on the first post of this thread.

Hey! this is the Izaya from the photo shoot that was yelling all the information! A video was taken of me with my shizu-chan and I was wondering if some one could link me to the video or just send me it's file? Last time a video of me rping was taken it was lost in cyber space and I reeeeeally don't want that to happen this time! Thank you!
