I have come back from the dead!
I would like to restart this game, but on this condition - DO NOT START DRAMA AND BICKERING IN VOTING ROUNDS. THIS IS A GAME, NOT PERSONAL ATTACK TIME.
Ahem.
I will accept 12 players for this reboot.
I will PM the twelve players their roles. The roles in the game are as follows:
8 Standard Humans:
Standard humans are players in the game. Their role is to vote to eliminate a player during the DAY phase of the game. Other than that, they don't serve a purpose but to eliminate the wolves and win the game. The Humans win if nobody is killed during the NIGHT phase, as obviously, the wolves are both voted out, and cannot kill anyone.
2 Wolves:
Wolves choose a player to eliminate during a NIGHT phase. They are allowed (and encouraged) to confer privately (through PM or any other means) on which player they'd like to kill, or eliminate from the game. They must kill a human player, and cannot kill each other. The wolves win if: a) there are two humans and wolves left or b) one human and one wolf remains in the game. Wolves also vote during the DAY phase
1 Seer:
The Seer is a special human player. During the NIGHT phase, they are allowed to PM the game master the name of any one player. The game master will PM them back what that player's role is. The Seer is allowed to use this information during the DAY phase.
1 Bodyguard:
The Bodyguard is a special human player. During the NIGHT phase, they may PM the game master with the name of a player they'd like to protect. If that player is a wolf, they are instantly killed, regardless of who the wolves choose to kill. If they choose to protect a player targeted by the wolves, one of the wolves will randomly die.
A word about roles: A player is more than welcome to reveal their role PUBLICLY, IN THIS THREAD. Doing so will likely (and usually) make you a target for voting or the wolves, so be careful.
In a nutshell:
Rounds go as follows:
Intro Round
NIGHT phase
-Wolves MUST choose whom to kill
-Seer MAY choose to view a role
-Bodyguard MAY choose to protect
-Humans HOPE they don't get killed
--->Players have 24 hours to do this. The only players required to PM the GM during this step are the Wolves. The Seer and Bodyguard's actions are encouraged, but optional. If the wolves fail to PM a kill, they get ONE 24-hour warning for the rest of the game. On a second failure, a wolf automatically dies (I encourage the wolves to communicate if one is going to be away for the 24-hour period). If the GM gets all PMs before the 24 hours are up, they may advance the game.
DAY phase
- I post who has been killed. The player dying may make one humorous out of game death post, and then is no longer allowed to post until the game is over.
- ALL players vote on who to eliminate. They may vote for ONE other user, and may not vote for themselves. Players have 24 hours to vote, and will be given a phantom vote against them the first time they fail to vote, and will be eliminated from the game on a second failure to vote.

...and the cycle repeats until we have a winner.

Mmm, what can I say? I'm a fellow congoer since '06, love video gaming, and...not good with intro's as you can see. (｡-_-｡) voting-wise, I'm using a randomizer for now since I'm not real familiar with anyone, so SORRY if the catch is you (or moi). >_<
