A panel for fans who are proud to say they like both Hetalia AND Homestuck, and aren't ashamed to mix them up together should the opportunity arise. Do you want to meet other fans who feel the same? Do you want to see what a face-off between Dave Strider and Sweden would be like, or find out what would happen if Francis hit on Rose Lalonde? Karkat versus England, who is more tsundere? If these sorts of questions have been nagging at you, the HetaStuck panel is the place for you. Fun, friendship, irony. Trolls, Humans, muggles, anthropomorphic blob/alien/animal things, all are welcome, as long as you bring your sense of humor, and are prepared for a interesting ride.

Rules:
1. Please keep your vital regions where they belong.
2. No buckets (You know why this rule is here....)
3. Leave any fandom wank you have at the door.
4. Bring a sense of humor. This is mandatory.
5a. Its okay if you're a fan of Hetalia who has no idea what Homestuck is, but your friends are dragging you to this panel anyway. Keep an open mind.
5b. It's perfectly fine if you're a fan of Homestuck and have never seen Hetalia, but you have been talked/dragged into this panel. Keep an open mind.
6. Even if your character is a jerk....you aren't, please remember you don't have to be in character all the time while in the panel. In fact, we hope that everyone at our panel can meet new friends and have a great time.

The Hetastuck Panel is basically a "friendship" panel, because there are a great many people I know who are fans of both series, and who might like a meetup/panel where they can celebrate their fandoms in harmony with each other. Hosted by France, Sweden, and Dave, this is sure to be an interesting experience for anyone who decides to attend. Hope to see you there.

Panel request has been sent. Now we just need to wait and see if we're approved. Any suggestions on the best way to summarize Hetalia and Homestuck respectively in less than 3 minutes?

Uhm.....Homestuck is about a group of friends who play a game called sburb, and realize it's more than it seems. While Hetalia is about several different nations and their lives while somewhat telling about history in silly and light-hearted ways. Hetalia and Homestuck are like twins, though they are completely different they both make people laugh, cry, and you just can't leave one for the other.
Is that okay? Is that kinda what you meant?

Thanks for all the support, you guys. I got a reply from panels awhile ago saying the definitely received my form, so now we just have the short wait to see if we're approved. Cross your fingers, and pray to your respective deities, imaginary friends, or various unspeakable horrors that we get accepted! I'm looking forward to seeing all of you at con!

Coming to the panel AS the Oni? Our Italy is going to love you. She also says that if hyperkineticenergy is still undecided about being john or being romano, she would really really love to have a fratello there.
I just did a rough headcount of people on this topic who have expressed interest in showing up....and we've already almost hit 20 people. OMG.
I'm looking forward to seeing ALL of you there. (also, we've taken down your forum names just in case we hit capacity for the room they're giving us, so at least you'll get in. everyone else will have to wait in line per normal)

The HetaStuck panel was great fun this year, about 60 more people than expected showed up...and we loved having you all! <3
We're hoping to get a longer timeslot next year, so we don't run out of time. Until then, why don't you tell us what you thought of our panel? Rant and rave away!

I dont think i know any thing to rant about to your panel though. it was very enjoayable on my part, though i do have to admit i got nervous going up and volunteering. one of those act first ask questions later. but i did very much enjoy how it was ran, and i really hope to attend it next year as well~!

Next year we'll try for a longer timeslot, definitely. we were planning the last section to be more than one skit, and we simply ran out of time (panelist rant. meh). But we hope it'll have as great a turnout as this year! We counted the chairs we were given, and at almost full that meant there were EIGHTY of you there! :O
Dave is shocked. Amazed. Dave feels loved.
Once I have the video edited (we had some technical difficulties, and I'm trying to add subtitles) I'll post it up here, so watch this space! :D

it was VERY enjoyable i dont think there was anything i didnt like about the panel :) saw some wonderful cosplays (see me in my half-ased drunk prussia cause it wasn't as hot as the full costume xD) and it was loads of fun really xD i got gushers to! FTW!
