General meetings are open to the public. Meet and plan with other staff, find out about joining staff or become a volunteer, and learn about open staff positions. Bring interested friends!

No general meetings are mandatory for all staff in general, but there may be training or planned meetups with certain groups of staff at particular meetings, which will be communicated to the particular staff in advance, or announced in the meeting announcements.
Also, staff are strongly encouraged to attend the last two meetings before the convention as these have the most news and information.

I should be able to attend this meeting. I have nothing planned for that day.

I've actually put in a request to get this afternoon off.
I keep forgetting to email about staff positions, maybe if I actually show up in person I will remember to talk to people.

Will the minutes be available somewhere? I can't attend yet again, because I won't even be in the contiguous states that weekend. And I feel really bad because this will be the third meeting I will have missed in a row.

The Beaverton Library's website changed since we posted the announcement and the link went bad, so the link to their website has been updated in the original post.
