So I'm thinking of making a Bleach Captains Panel. I want to do either a panel with just Bleach captains, or with the Shinigami Women's Association. I want to just see if anyone who falls into this category is interested before I set anything in stone. Let me know, and I'll let you know what I'm thinking of doing for the panel.

I think this would be a cool idea, never seen any real bleach panels in general, and your idea of doing the captain's or SWA sounds cool :3 would you think it is more like a free for all on people who show up and discussions and such are improve? Or are you thinking of having set people for each person, and planned dialogue?

i know it's pretty early, but i'm in school so i would like to have plenty of time to plan it. i also wanted to see if anyone was even interested, i know bleach isn't exactly the newest most popular thing to watch.

omg yes, awesome idea :) (just came up with a brilliant part for her to have.... now to find that sake bottle....) (plz note, totally fell out of character there, as Soi Fon would never say "omg yes" and only use "awesome" if it was for sarcasm)

Lucky for all of us (Mostly just Matsumoto) that I'm in a ceramics class, so making that sake bottle (And matching cup) will be really easy.

This is bit random, but I think it would be fitting if there were (Fake) flowers for each division on the table, or in vases on the captain's table. Well, maybe not all thirteen flowers, but just those for the captains present.

it's a cool idea. unfortunately i'm a broke college student, and some of those flowers would be harder to find (like a pasque flower).

of course! i've got a rough script already outlined, and the clips and fun stuff i wanna use, but nothing definitive until i get done with classes for the quarter. we should wait til after they announce who's getting a panel until we meet up too. (though lets be honest, they will choose us cause who wants so many bleach captains mad at you?)

I was able to track down each of the current captain's flowers, so I was wondering if it would be better to go with a minimalist ikebana approach (What am I thinking? I'm Hitsugaya-taichou, not Unohana!) or go with a more modern look? I could do either one.

What would this panel be about? Is it some sort of acting thing, or chatting about Bleach, or what?
I have a Sajin Komamura outfit I could wear. It's not the greatest, and it's something I purchased a while back, but I have spruced it up a little bit. I just need to make sure it still fits after I've lost weight (and I'd probably need to take in a few things that will probably be too big).
That's assuming I'll be able to make it. I'm still trying to figure out if I'll be able to swing KumoriCon after going to the Star Wars Celebration VI.

sorry i havent been on, school was crazy there for a while.
so to answer/comment on a few things....
1. i'm nixing the flowers guys. what's i'm going for is an official looking captains meeting. gunna b complete with a backdrop we're making using old sheets and paint.
2. to answer the "what is it about" question that we're gunna inevitably get a lot of: it's a meeting that the captains r having to debrief after everything that happened with aizen. it's gunna b a lot of talk/banter that is loosly scripted (because i'm an improv-type of girl). the backround to it is that Soi Fong is running the meeting because Captain Yamamoto is still resting after the whole ordeal (or something like that), she's called together the current/past captains of the 13 court guard squads to not only go over what happened, but to talk to them about how ichigo/urahara had to show up and save them. it'll b complete with short clips from the anime here and there to illustrate points. :)
so there u have it. i think i answered the question. don't wanna give away EVERYTHING (except to those who r guna help with the panel, which we will do a meet up about this after school is out for the summer)

ok, just to put everyone at ease (and cause i haven't heard from anyone). i will b at director park at 1130am to meet with whoever shows up. we will plan on doing a second meeting the first sunday of august (same place, same time). sorry guys, but due to work constraints of my own, sunday is the only day i have available. i figure with this much advance notice people will b able to get time off if required. (also by then i should know if the panel was accepted)

Hey guys. So still haven't heard if our panel was accepted, but figured I'd plan a meeting anyway. So if we wanted to do Saturday it would be 8/4 at or after 5pm (cause I work til 4). Cause we would b meeting up that late I figured we would meet at pioneer square then from there go to like subway or something (cause no dinner makes me cranky). Lemme know what u guys think.

Matsumoto won't be able to attend Kumori Con, but I will still be coming! I've been cut off from the internet for a week, I'm sorry that I couldn't get this to you before the script came out! Getting my license has taken a little bit longer than I thought it would, so I won't be able to go to a pre-con meet up unless it was on the 31st..

Still working on that. I have the tweaks in mind to fix it if we don't. I'll bring an alternate script (enuf for everyone) to the day 0 meeting on the off chance we don't have one. It won't vary that much from the current script though, so don't worry.

It was so fun!!! I do feel a little bad for revealing that little bit of information about Taichou though.. We MUST do this again next year! but with a different theme obviously... I know!!! everyone knows the end of the fullbring arc right? where Yamamoto decided to reawaken ichigo's powers? we could do that meeting! or we could have a SWA meeting.. but then I wouldn't be able to tease my captain as much... oh well, we have a year! I love you all!!!

We could also do a filler thing! You know how they had a few episodes that were just the weird dreams that people had on special occasions? What if we did something like that? I think it would be so fun! Just thoroughly confuse Ichigo... We could do the ever-cliche alice in wonderland, or something more random like Midsummer's night dream (0.o I can totally see that now..).
But I'm fine with doing the musical too! It sounds really fun! (I just need to watch it first)

The audio quality isn't bad because the camera is bad, I think it's just cause of the room and how the noise bounces off the wall(not to mention we had a live audience!). The audio was actually pretty good when people were speaking in the direction of the camera/were facing it. Also might be because of where it was recorded in the room. A good spot would be in front of the people who are speaking or a little distance from a speaker if one were using a mic. If we had a mic or something this could be better. But the room itself isn't suited for that kind of audio I think. D: Sorry I went on a little ramble of audio, I've taken a year of recording arts so I know a little . I look forward to next year though! If you can't get your friend to get her nice camera, I wouldn't mind loaning my camera to film and I'll edit what is shot later(couldn't shoot myself because of being on the panel) but the camera I have is pretty good and a handheld. Never seen someone do soi fon's style with their hair, but sounds like a cool coincidence. :3 Good luck on finding a wig!

So my little sister and I might be interested in helping out with the panel for next year if you like. We both will be cosplaying Zabimaru (my sister as Hebi and me as Saru). I wish my bro could come along since he will be Renji, but he will be staffing in the karaoke room. T_T

What if we set the panel up like a character meeting discussing Bleach's drop in popularity? Although it kind of completely annihilates the 4th wall, it could also be really fun. We could spend the panel trying to figure out how to bring up the popularity (Matsumoto- "I know, confess your love to Karin-chan, Taichou!" Ichigo- "NO WAY IN HELL!") And eventually take suggestions from the audience. I think it'd be fun to act according to everyone's head-canons.
Just a thought.

What if the mens association had finally found the perfect place to have their meeting.... and then the womans association showed up? This way we could have practically anyone join us, and they could all have a say in things. Those who come from either side who were not in the original shorts (like if ichigo comes to the mens meeting) would have to come up with a reason why they r there, or who dragged them along. I think this would allow for more free flowing dialog. It would basically require that yachiru comes.... and it would be nice to get a byakuya.
just a thought.
