Lol stupid thing to ask but I'm bored and have the time right now so Who are you going as?
I going as Vicous From Cowboy Bebop, Possibly Merchant from RE 4 or Loufy from One Peice and a Few other but Vicous for sure^^

I agreed to cosplay Fushigi Yuugi at Sakuracon (the costume is being made for me) so I'll have that, and I've retired my Naraku after this con.

I'm not sure for next year, but for Sakuracon my friend and I are trying to get a group costume as Lust, Greed, Scar and Gluttony (me). If that falls through for Sakuracon maybe we'll do it next year.
I also toyed with the idea of being apology man. I'd have pictures of all the anime/game characters that did something that made me hate them and tack an apology on. Examples:
"Sorry I like trains so much. (My precious, precious trains.) ~Selphie"
"Sorry I killed the best character in the series! ~Envy"
"Sorry my fortunes make no sense... your lucky number is green, by the way. ~Cait Sith"
"Sorry suck mine translations yours too. ~Kite and Blackrose"
It would just be so much fun to come up with everything I could do with that. Feel free to steal the idea, by the way.

I'm thinking of bringing back my Lupin costume. I had so much fun with that. Also, Lizzie and Joe from the Bakazoku gave me the idea of going as Tom Riddle. :twisted: (Carry around a book with a tooth in it and maybe a (fake) snake)

Well I'd love to go as Xelloss-sama but I doubt THAT will happen.

Since I won't have sufficient funds for the costume I wanted to do, I'm going to go as someone with an easy costume.

Next year will be the first year I'll cosplay, but I'm already shooting for the elaborate costumes, cause if your gonna do it, gotta do it good, right? Anyway, I'm gonna be Misao (acatar picture) from Rurouni Kenshin. I love that girl and she fits my personality perfectly! I'm also contemplating Aeris of FF7.. but that's in the works, maybe even a few others, who knows? But so far definately Misao!!! All love for the wandering samurai!!

Some of my friends are big time tenchi fans but they did minimal cosplaying this year. Next year I'm hoping they'll actually get the costumes. If we ge a group I'm probably gonna be Tenchi's dad with the mustache and video camera. Heh.

I hear the Niece has ordered both Sailor moon and Mini Moon outfits. It's all part of my Nefarious plot to get ladies my age to the Con in sailor suits

Recently I thought of a cosplay idea but I'm not sure if I could pull it off.
If you've seen Samurai Champloo, I was starting to think about adding Jin (the samurai with the glasses) to my cosplay list.
Anyone who knows me (appearance-wise) do you think I could make this work? (assuming, of course, I can make/find a costume in time)

I've decided that I'll just go as Shadow again..but with an improved costume! I'm planning on adding fur to it, re-doing the ears, and completely re-doing the shoes to be more comfortable...because after walking around the con for over 4 hours those boots were killing me.

The other day I was tearing apart some old roller blades to get the wheels and I was thinking how if the bottom was taken off what is left is a big soft cartoony boots like that kid on the cosplay forum wanted to make. You might want to find a pair of white roller blades rather then ice skates

It is as much a matter of the fabric paint both sticking and flexing with the imitation leather. I have not used fabric pant in a long time and then on fabric, it clings to the material getting into the very fibers of it's existence and flexes as the fabric flexes. Finished leather and imitation leather have a very closed cell surface and not as easy for the fabric paint to cling to. I think the spray shoe dye (And the cosplay vinyl dyes) would be best for any closed cell surface. But you can always experiment it would just cost you a few squirts of pant on an old something from your closet or goodwill. And keep in mind will the area being dyed or re colored be under stress, lots of bending will break down the new color.

Okay, I finally decided (Kind of...):
1. One Normal: Yuna (Summoner)
2. One Crossplay: Edward (I need a blond wig still)/Tezuka(I need to get my costume altered, way too big on me)
3. One more: which should it be? Sakaki(Azumanga Daioh)/Neji(Naruto)/Tomoe(Kenshin)/Chi(Chobits)
Sakaki because I want to do it for Kumori and I'm making it for you anyways, yeah? (Least that's last what I heard from Joe. XD)
Guess Sakaki it is, but it's so hard to keep a straight face the whole time.

That’s all the spray dye I have, I put the liquid dyes on another rack. I took some pictures as I was cleaning and cant decide if I should arrange the dye by catalog number, color chart or alphabetically (on the shelf near the microwave I alphabetized the gravy). Any leather store should have some. Oregon leather across the street from me has it and I can get like %25 off. If you are in Portland there is Oregon Leather there too. Most colors only come in a 4 oz can, black white and brown come in 12 oz can. Google "Meltonian NU-LIFE Color Sprays" and see if you can find a color chart to see what color you want although the store next to me does not have all 50.

Ummm...I don't know the exact amount, but it's taken a lot of time. Mostly because it's all hand sewn, and I strive for a quality job. I'm not even done with it yet, because I wanted to add more things to it. Can't really answer your question though.

Very good Vondan. Yes, Shadow is from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. I've seen/read/memorized/already knew all of that Shadow information. And there's quite a bit of information. But what's awesome is that one of my best friends is going as Maria Robotnik with me. So be sure to look for a Shadow cosplayer with a Maria by her side! Not to mention I'll also be hanging out with a Winry cosplayer.

Well, just off my name alone, take a guess XD. I went as squall last year and I don't have any character that comes close to favorite compared to squall so I'm going as him again this year ^^. 1 day I will go as squall's normal costume he wears 99% of the game, 1 day I will go in his SeeD costume which is really spiffy ^^. I hope I see some familiar faces again this year since last year was my first year at kumoricon. Some of you may know me from the cosplay from the dating show last year ^^. Hope to have more fun this year, I had a blast last year :).

I agree with him on what he says about crossplayers. He's acctualy lost weight, if you've looked at recent AX pictures compared to older ones.

Hey I got this crazy idea form reading the topic about the overly done Coplays that get old and the look like they've recieved less effert and less effert. ^_^
We shoudl get a group of people, about 20-ish or so, and dress up as Clone Troopers from Star Wars: Episode 3 when they have thier cool looking, but useless, armor.
Hahaha, this way we can really call ourselves clones!

Sweet deal! I'll be cosplaying dark as well. What theif version are you doing? (I'm taking the easy way out and doing the sleeveless version since its my fourth costume).
I'm being Hikaru to AE for a group cosplay, but I will probably wear it to KC as well. We'll have to find each other. My twin and Hani will be with me (if they cosplay them), but sadly, our Tamaki and Haruhi aren't coming to KC, and our Mori and Renge live in Canada. All the same, I would love to see your costume if you do it!

I believe a friend of mine and his g/f wants to do the sagara sousuke and chidoro couple cosplay like you are. I dun think they can make it to kumori however. either way, I like to ck out the cosplays.
My own cosplay plans are still in a bit of a flux. I have haku(naruto) returning by request, yamada hanatarou(bleach, hopefully with my bag of random stuff....^_^), and another one that isn't finalized yet.
I was going do yuki(fruits baskets), but the group I was doing it with seems to fell apart. My other options is maybe Ritsuka(Loveless, I dun really care for the series, I just want to do a catboy) or one I really want to do, but would be very difficult is the prince from Suikoden 5.
