I was wondering if there is anyone planning to be cosplaying any Madoka Magica characters this kumoricon? I plan on going as Homura Akemi, I also have a couple of friends going as Sayaka and Madoka and a possible Mami. No Kyoko though... :(
It'd be awesome to get a big Madoka group walking around together and a photoshoot would be awesome as well.
Just thought I'd ask~! ;D

I'm thinking of swapping out Marie from Soul Eater for Mami. I definitely want to cosplay her sometime, but it's a fairly complex costume and Sailor Mars is my highest priority for Kumoricon this year, and I don't want to commit to something else big until she's done or nearly there. So maybe?

*thread bump* I was also planning on doing Homura, she's an awesome character and I have an extra black wig I've been looking to re-use.

This is kinda awkward cause 3 out of 4 of us here is talking about cosplaying Homura.
But maybe we can consider ourselves Horuma's from different timelines XD
Anyway, I was thinking cosplaying her with the braids. But I wanted your guy's opinion on weather you think I can pull her off without a wig and with my natural hair, since I'm not really looking forward to buying another black wig but at the same time I really want to cosplay her

Your hair is the perfect length and style, though admittedly, not the right color. Were you thinking of being brave and dying it?
We are all cosplaying Homura because she is awesome. That's a great pic idea, though - Homuras from different timelines. Someone could braid up their hair and wear glasses, one could wear a red ribbon, etc.

But no, I am very against dying it. If I dyed it I think I would die.
I mean I could probably borrow my friend's back wig, but its not long enough : P
I think I might just go for it even without the wig just because Hoomuraaa ;A;

i'm probably gonna be kyoko for at least one day. i'm gonna try to finish her magical girl outfit, but i'm a little short on time, so i'll most likely just be casual.
i'm definitely gonna finish the magical outfit for another con though, because i have a full group (including god madoka) lined up.

so, i don't think i'm gonna be able to have kyoko ready in time this year. i'll possibly be able to finish it for sakuracon, so here's hoping!

I'll be Madoka with my light-up rose bow Saturday morning until I get tired and I'll be around signing contracts again as Kyubey at night and on Monday~

I actually am almost done with my gijinka! Kyubey for Day 0 && maybe day 1 evening :3 I'll have business cards & a clipboard for recruitment ;) LOL.
but im not sure i can make it to a shoot sdfsd. but can't wait to see you guys around the con !

I'm going to go with a big magical group around con, with all the magical girls but Sayaka, We're not too sure on the day, but day 2 seems like it would be the best for us atm.

Don't you mean Sunday? not Saturday? Saturday is day 1 I'm pretty sure.. But 12:30 is looking like it would be better for me personally but if the common denominator is 12 I'll do my best to make it
