This is a little late in the month to be posting this but....
For those who don't know what NaNoWriMo is, it stands for National Novel Writing Month. Pretty much in the month of November you are trying to write 50,000 words on your story.

Anyone else here on the forums attempting NaNo this year? If you are, what is your word count?

My friend danni is doing it. Shes at 2500. I wanted to, but all my home work keeps me too busy

One of my friends and I are doing a collaboration for this year's NaNo.
We're a day or so behind, though, but we're going for 100k.

I'm at about 16k and some change. I want to get to 20+k by the end on the night since I didn't write anything yesterday on my day off like I'd been hoping.

I'm near 4000 words right now, but it's hard for me to just sit down and write-write-write! I love the story I'm working on but it's mentally draining so if I rush it then everything becomes a big jumbled mess. ;;sigh.;;

I understand completely :(. Mine is only about 6000 long because of the same reason :-\.

I'm close to breaking 30k now thank god. I don't like being behind. Actually, I think I'm ahead still... Never mind.

I'm happy to say that I broke 6,000 last night after my post here! ;;grin.;; But yeah, it really sucks when that happens. I know that NaNoWriMo is just an event to try and write as much as possible to get creativity flowing but...I take it so seriously. I don't want my 50,000 words to suck. Dx

I know its a little late for me to join, but last night i wrote 7000 words for my already 5500 word story, so im going to aim for the 50,000 goal like everyone else, just not use the site. Its more of a personal challenge for me.
