By Memorial Park you mean the Vietnam Memorial right? COuld we move it to another place? I know it's pretty and there's not a lot of people but I have strong feelings related to the Vietnam war. My birth father was in the Vietnam war, and when we were learning about it in class last year I was crying.
I feel having this meet up there is a bit disrespectful to those have suffer losses like I have (the war has left my birthday suffering from PTSD)

Also, maybe we could do something of a cheap white elephant Valentines gift exchange? nothing over 5$ and we give them all to a certian someone where they are asigned a number. you draw a number and get what you get that way. Of course, it can be hand made as well, if you so choose.

Just some ideas. And most popular allergies are peanuts and other nuts... but my allergies don't count here, mostly cause they're medical. xD

If we decide to go into the mall for any reason, I think there had been more complaints about the noise than just regular cosplayers. So if we keep our conversations at a low volume while inside I don't think they'll mind. I know with a group that's always hard to do, but still achievable.

I'm still up for the exchange! My present will be something character-specific and will probably be kind of useless and cheap, but cute. I have a few ideas..

Also my cosplay is still kind of half done.. I home nobody minds.. sadly I ran out of fabric before I could finish the last two pockets and I still have a ton of small things to fix.

Meanwhile the meet was good and epic, even among the other apparent meets that were at the mall. I was the heroic Portland Pirate using my knowledge of the concrete grid to help cosplayers find their groups, run with them at light speed to catch their MAXes, and ride with them most of the way home. Though of course, the Americas present were the real heroes. I hope my dice were a good, though late contribution to the gift exchange.
