Hi guys!
We're gonna up the number of players to 16 - this gives us more specialty roles and room for one more wolf (mwahahahaha)
Here's how it'll break down this time:
3 Wolves (!)
1 Seer
1 Mercenary
1 Vigilante - This player may once, during any day phase, outright kill any player. If they choose to do this, no voting occurs.
10 Humans
A note about the graveyard thread: I'm totally cool with it, it's a neat thing. However, I need to clarify what can be said in that thread:
-Living players can post there, but no roles are allowed to be even speculated until the game ends. We had a problem with this in the first game. IF this happens, you will be given a warning phantom vote against yourself. If you do this a second time, you will be removed from the game, and be suspended for one game. A third offense means I strike your face with the banhammer.
-Dead players may not speculate roles or reveal roles. The same rules will apply if you break this rule.

by the way, what good is being a seer if you can't tell people "hey, this is a wolf" even if it means putting yourself at risk?

Because you can use your words to persuade people to lynch the wolves one by one.
It's a matter of how you phrase your posts to sway the other normal people to vote in your favor.
Much like how in the last round Nikki tricked you all into thinking she was a normal person when she was the one killing you all.

If we so choose, we CAN reveal our roles during the game, right? i.e., If I'm the seer, I can say so, right? Of course, I realize this would be stupid since it would be asking for the wolves to kill you.

Sorry, I'm used to play Mafia where we use the term "heal" instead of "save". I.e., if I am the merc, can I choose to protect myself from the wolves instead of someone else?

aww, come on. it added to the fun :P no apologies needed. Cyber and I prowl the night too and we weren't wolves :) (Vampires don't always get along with werewolves either. They do make good pets sometimes though.)

Yes, I am extremely busy as well and don't get a chance to check this website until late at night sometimes. I really don't want to get phantom votes against me, so I would prefer the current system.
Also, it kind of sucked last time when I found out that everyone voted against me in the last round, and I didn't even know about it until later. All I could really give was a few paragraphs of an "alibi" without much interaction. I think a 12 hour system would give people less time to give their alibis.

Jacob - I've noticed a lot of people around the forums who really don't like Hetalia so it was just a little observation since they were in hetalia for Bressler's party that maybe someone doesn't like Hetalia amongst the wolves. -shrug-
I mean, no one has really done anything yet to upset the wolves so they would need some basis to kill someone off first unless they just randomly chose a name.
But then there is Dark4ever (or w/e their name is) dressing up as Undertaker which could be considered bad/evil which in turn could point to Wolf.

I just barely realized that.
Anyway, it's very difficult to decide within the first round. It's much harder to play this game over the internet, when you can't see people's expressions.
As for the Hetalia speculation...meh, I don't really see how that is very relevant. At this point in the game, I think the killing is pretty random. The wolves haven't gotten the chance to see who is who, and who is more apt to figure them out yet.
I don't know who I am voting for yet.

Hmm shes got a point too. I have no clue who i want to vote for this time. Like before, my list wont even begin to make sense until theres been at least three other victims. One victim isnt enough to make a profile.

I don't know who I'm voting for either, but I would like to remind everyone that the way they die as Bresslol writes it has nothing to do with who the wolves are. We figured that out last time, remember?
Now, as it is the second round, we need to think about who would be the most strategic to be the wolf. The best way for the wolves to succeed this time would be to be who we least expect.

Is there any way that we can keep some of the chatting down. During the day phase I don't mind at all but the night phase we don't really need it. Its a little annoying to sift through 9 pages of information because people are having conversations.

As people have mentioned it is way to early in the game to see any sort of evidence to who may be the wolves.
The only thing we have to go on right now is the chatter that's going on between people.
However, from my experience, the guilty parts is usually the first to point fingers!

First to point fingers and first to vote have nothing to do with it. Wolves will wait and see who we vote for and follow the pack. Most likely a wolf will be someone who waits everything out and hides with the masses so they don't stand out as a single entity. You guys saying all of that will only further prove the point because they would feel they need to restrain from leading groups because you will recognize it is them. :/

Actually, this is quite true, especially for inexperienced wolves. In the last game, I recall Nikkiolie calling me out pretty quickly during one round. It could have been that she wanted me out because she felt threatened. And she got her way, too, because shortly afterward I was voted out due to my "creepy" posts.
What I think is ridiculous is voting someone out because they are not posting as much. I remember that going on a lot in the last game. This is why I would sometimes post random things so that people wouldn't think I was being "too quiet" even though I had nothing to say.
On the contrary, I would suggest the opposite. People who post often, I think, are more likely to be the culprit. I was going to mention this in the last round, but I didn't want to put myself on the spot for a reason like that. There were a few people who posted a lot--Nikkiolie, Cyberincision, Chromophobic and Tala especiially--I suspected each of them to be wolves at some point, and was right about Nikki but no one listened (Never suspected GregAtlas though, even though he posted more than anyone ;) ). Anyway, sometimes it's the ones who talk a lot, making allies and whatnot, posting fun things here and there, little action phrases and getting things off topic...are they trying too hard to look innocent?
Since I really can't tell who is who, I'm just going to vote for myself. (Hopefully no one follows suit, because it would suck to be eliminated this early on in the game). I don't want to point any fingers just yet. Every post I make, I'm going to make a good one. This way my words can be reviewed and added to an evidence "database" should I ever be eliminated or killed. Please do not be intimidated by my posts, everyone. The whole "Oh, she's just trying to confuse you because she's a wolf" deal...that's not a very good accusation towards someone who is just being honest and getting people to THINK. I just would like to point out that I behaved the same way in the last round, too, but was unfairly eliminated because I like to analyze.

I'n doing my best not to have to be a moderator in this thread, because it is a game. This is a friendly caution to cut out the personal attacks. We're all just trying to play a game here. I understand it can get emotional, but nothing good comes from personal attacks. I don't like having to see that random had to moderate in here overnight. Thanks, guys. :)
One more thing: If I say someone died overnight, and tie some flair to it, that's my doing, not the wolves'. They just tell me who they are killing.

To be completely honest with you, that's just going to happen in the first round of voting, it's a crap shoot, even if the seer nails a wolf on night one, or the mercenary stops the wolves on night one.
It's kind of like the first player killed night one, the wolves really have no motive, they just have to kill a player off due to the rules. Sucks for that player, but that's how the game is played.

I post here because I was expecting this game to be fun. What is the point of playing if you can't talk and speculate? Just because my posts are intelligent and have meaning to them, doesn't make me a wolf. It makes me a player in this game. That's what this game is about. It's about speculating, putting pieces together, forming opinions, and ultimately trying to win it for your side.
If you're going to kill someone for playing the game and actually trying then you people are sad. This isn't a personal attack so don't go and edit my post. It's an observation.
I am nothing but a human trying to have fun playing a detective game. I've never played this game before and I'm simply trying to do my best to have a good time and look at things in a thoughtful manner. If you people want to ruin that because my posts make "too much sense" then I pity you for your desire to get rid of someone based on their level of intelligence.

That's pretty intense.
But I can definitely sympathize; I got voted out in the last game exactly because I made thoughtful, analytical comments. People thought it was suspicious and I was accused of being a werewolf...but you're right, telling people how a wolf would think does not mean that you are a wolf. If anything, it is helpful to villagers because it keeps the wolves on their toes.
The points you first made about the wolves following the crowd was excellent, and subsequent posts were reasonable, but as Bresslol said, that's just how the game goes in the first (few) rounds. It's unfortunate that your first exposure to this game is online. It is much more fun (and makes a lot more sense) in person, because you can see expressions and hear emotion.
Meh, this is exactly why I voted for myself.

Well no **** Sherlock. If someone was accusing you of being a wolf you would defend yourself as well. Especially since wolves are normally the ones who will attack someone who they see as a threat which is why I believe at least one of you voting for me is a wolf.

Well since you are all so against me I'm going to put this in plain and simple terms.
I post here because I was expecting this game to be fun. What is the point of playing if you can't talk and speculate? Just because my posts are intelligent and have meaning to them, doesn't make me a wolf. It makes me a player in this game. That's what this game is about. It's about speculating, putting pieces together, forming opinions, and ultimately trying to win it for your side.
If you're going to kill someone for playing the game and actually trying then you people are sad. This isn't a personal attack so don't go and edit my post. It's an observation.
I am nothing but a human trying to have fun playing a detective game. I've never played this game before and I'm simply trying to do my best to have a good time and look at things in a thoughtful manner. If you people want to ruin that because my posts make "too much sense" then I pity you for your desire to get rid of someone based on their level of intelligence.
i can understand your frustration, but one of the games main points is that someone dies EVERY DAY, thats just how mafia style games work. you enter in the game, get your role, and run the gambit untill youre killed, its how it works. ufortunately some get voted off early and that sucks, but if this is such a big deal, then maybe next time bressler or someone can make a murder mystery game where only the NPC dies or something....i dunno. and as for the first time playing, its mine to, unfortunately last time i was AFK and killed day one....i think..i dont remember, never posted on that one.....

This game is ment for FUN and not to be offensive to anyone. It saddens me to see such negativity and hate formed on this game. The last game I played I made two new friends and everyone was nice to eachother.
Yes, everyone has to point fingers at eachother but there is a fine line between good reasoning and just being mean about it.
Example:
I vote for Chromophobic because her way of posting seemed suspicious.
That is okay.
Example:
I vote for Chromophobic because she voted against me and is a [censored] and I hate her guts.
Not okay.
If you are easily offended, then I can tell you right now this game is not good for you.

anyways this is EXACTLY what this game is ment to do. The drama is the whole point of the game :P

I vote for Griffinclaw Princess because there is trying to defend yourself and showing that your a not a wolf and then there is getting pissed off and making the game not fun. I want this game to be fun and if you are going to act like this any time someone accuses you I rather get you out now.
As for talking about how the wolves would play, Griffinclaw is a huge target right now, so is Tala so the wolves are very likely to keep them in the game. (at least I would if I was one).

And whether i take it personally or not isnt the thing, its the fact that the point of the game is to guess and survive and its a mystery game, so taking the fun out of the game by doing what cyber did just makes the game not fun anymore. This whole game just went down the drain from the beginning.

People really shouldn't take the game seriously... it's a *game*. I joined because it's kind of like the game I used to play at camp (Mafia, I think it was) and wanted to reminisce... I was always the first one dead before the two times I was a mafia person I managed to kill everyone... I have a great poker face. In person it's so much harder because of that. So online, I figured it'd be harder. Cause you can't control a smile. You can control what you type.
But Nikki makes a valid point, so I'll switch my vote for you.

Yea, reveal your roles. Not other peoples. Its not a fair game when the seer can look at everyone and then tell people who the wolves are. It takes the whole point away from the game. And actually yes i did have a problem with the pming last round, but i didnt say anything because i wanted to end the arguing. But reguardless, this game stopped being fun when all these personal attacks started.

We are allowed to reveal our OWN roles; however, I don't know about PMing other people and telling them who other people's roles are. I don't think this should be allowed. I agree with Tala in that this takes away from the game.
