There was a plan for it this last year (2011) but it didn't really work out to well. It was a bummer.
But whose up for the real deal this year? whose really going to do one of our old past times:)
I want to try and get the whole digital group from the first season, and maybe more from others?
Romo and Tanuki19 were going to help me, but plans fell through for both of them, so I'm left alone.

So what kind of clothes do you think Gatomon would wear? I have a cute spaghetti strap dress pattern that i can make white and have purple details but do you think that's something she would wear?

I've been thinking things over a bit more and while I absolutely love wearing my Matt cosplay I'm thinking I might have to give it a break. Instead I'm probably going to be making a Tai cosplay from Digimon 01. If I can afford it that is. xD But I really want to and have been asked to by a friend before so I figure, why not?~

Also, in my opinion, I think this would make a good wig for Kari (if Teddy is still looking). While I think this is probably more season 1 I'm sure the site has season 2 worthy stuff too so I'm linking this over! (it would need some styling of course but whatever)

Nice. I'm not sure if I'll be making it to Kumoricon, but I'm 90% sure I'm going to Sakuracon so I'll be wearing Tai there.

I think making the Biyomon will be hard but not impossible. It would make my Sora cosplay a lot better too.

Yeah, I won't have an Agumon for my Tai cosplay so there's that. But! If I make it to Sakuracon like I plan to one of my friends is going to be season 1 Kari with me. :3 So that'll be cool.~
If anyone does make it to Sakuracon, with Digimon cosplays, later me know. We could take pictures together!

I've considered buying a digivice from this guy. He's pretty good at it. There twenty five each and he'll paint which ever one you want.

I think I've seen him around eBay before. Either that or someone who also makes really cool looking digivices. It'd be cool if you got one. c: I wouldn't be able to afford one myself haha.

Well I'm trying to remember if its the crest or digivice Gatomon carries around before she finds Kari. I may do Kari with you guys afterall too, season one.

Cool! Also, I just got my Tai socks today; it was an adventure.~ Went over to Sock Dreams and picked up the perfect pair! Now I just need to order the wig, find the shorts and gloves, and finish all the construction on everything....well at least the collection of pieces part is almost done. xD

Also, I'm toying around with the idea of making a Koromon plushie, but I'm not really knowledgeable when it comes to sewing or making things like that. But I feel like I could figure it out if I had some help. I want to have a prop for a cosplay for once; I haven't had one in the longest time since they always seem to be so expensive (bad luck from the character's I've picked).

Also! I got some material at Joann's today and am going to be working with kit2kit on making my Koromon plushie (as well as some other cosplay endeavors) and it's going to be awesome! I'll post pics later, maybe tomorrow it depends.
By the way Teddy, it would be really cool if you updated the front page. So much has changed that it's kind of misleading to anyone new to the thread as far as cosplay plans go. ><

well, i've been wondering. for my gatomon costume (for the rave) should I make my wig apart of her tail or should I go ahead and have a tail seperatly.
also, I'm working on O1 Kari as a last priority.

Like how do you mean, Teddy? Do you mean cutting off part of the wig to make the tail or just not having a tail at all? Okay maybe the first option of that made no sense...but yeah I'm just a little confused. ><;
On another note Tai's shirt and armband are officially complete! I've also ordered the wig I'm going to style so it should be here in a few weeks. The only things I have left to do are style that monster and find a pair of brown cargo shorts and I'll be good to go! :3

I mean, I'm getting a really long white wig for Gatomon, if I braid it and put some purple in it, could I make it look like the tail if the hair clasp looks like the holy ring? or should I get the tail made and just keep the wig braided.

Those are both interesting ideas, the first one sounded more unique but also more difficult. You'd have to dye the bottom of the wig or something...I'm not even sure dying wigs is possible (aside from using sharpies). I guess it all depends on what suits your vision of the Gijinka the best! :3 I'd reccomend having at least a pair of ears or the tail though, to make it more distinctly Gatomon.

I still need to style my wig, but I have it, get some help on some goggle adjustments, and find the shorts then I'm completely done with Tai. I found out, officially, that I won't be making it to Kumoricon this year though so if anyone wants to catch me it'd have to be at Sakuracon.
