It helps if you're a little masochistic ;D I have yet to try contacts, but I used to poke my eyes a lot on purpose for fun. 2 reasons: it creeped people out & eyeball juice is yummy.

I have yet to find an actual vocaloid version of it, but I'm just thinking since we cosplay vocaloids it would be cool to put on a show using our own voices as long as we can find people that can remember the parts. I suppose a smaller karaoke audience would work too though.
It would be pretty weird to have 5 vocaloids stand up on stage and only pretend to sing...

This is my first anime convention EVER! I will be going as Kaito all three days, but may be doing that MMD casual version on one of them. You know, the one with jeans and the hoodie that says 'You scream, I scream...'. If not, it will just be Box Art Kaito.

Sorry about the less than immediate response, but yes, I think we should meet up at the con. Two Miku's, a Kaito, and my brother as Gakupo.
For the karaoke, I already have 1 and 2/3 songs memorized, and am working on another. I am a mixed bag when it comes to singing, but as long it is fun and I don't hurt anybody's ears, I'm fine with singing them.

Basically bring your karaoke versions (and lyrics if you need them) to the karaoke room on a USB or ipod and then give them to the karaoke staff. They will plug your stuff in and pull the lyrics up on a screen (or you can print some out beforehand and hold them in your hands) and then sing :D
I'm compiling a flashdrive of a bunch of vocaloid songs for the karaoke staff. If you have requests for specific songs, just ask and I'll try to find it~

So you WERE the Kaito I saw! I didn't dress up, but if you saw me, I was in the Coca-Cola shirt walking out of the parking garage while you were walking around it.
I think my brother and I will be able to make at least one of the photoshoots. we don't have anything planned for them except meandering around our first con.
