Title: Advice needed for gluing onto fabric paint

I need to glue leather belts onto (fabric) painted suede and I hesitate to just go ahead and use hot glue because I know that sometimes hot glued objects can come apart... And I do not want the leather to fall off halfway through the day!

So what sort of glue is both very strong and works on both leather and paint...? Should I go ahead and use hot glue? What would work for this?

jsut og get some fabric glue works well.

Do you happen to have a picture of what you are trying to do? I have an idea but would like to see what exactly you're trying to make first.
