Title: Looking for 2 AMV Editor Spotlight Slots in Programming
Post by: Prinz Eugen on August 02, 2011, 06:17:03 am
Hello:

Last year & the year before, we had a couple of 1 or 1 1/2 hour slots for AMV editors to show us their stuff - AMVs they liked and how they made them.

Would any two or three editors like to do this again this year?

I may be able to get one regular-hours slot and one 'off hours' slot which would be fine for people who are going to include more explicit material,
or we can just got for two regular hours program slots.

Discussions?

I would absolutely love to do this, it was very fun last year :) Let me know anything I need to do for this!

Also, I would terribly under-utilize an after-hours slot.

OK! I will get Programming to get you a daytime slot;
I will be at the meeting this weekend.

Anyone for a second slot?
Notes:
a) We don't *have* to do it off-hours, and
b) Even if it ends up late or off hours, the second spot-light presenter
wouldn't *have* to include explicit content...

The slots I currently have are Saturday 11pm-1:30am (can always run a little shorted, or until 2am), and Sunday 7pm-9:30pm (this is max length).

It's slated as AMV Studio & Editor Spotlight, so I guess it's up to you all how you want to split/share/whatever.  Just give me a breakdown once it's decided, and we can get the word out who will be when.

I would definitely prefer the Sunday slot; I could probably talk about other people's AMVs and/or making AMVs and easily fill the slot. The other slot is a little late and I'm not positive I will be able to get home if I stay that late.

I like the times that they r going to b this year! Mainly the one sun night. Last year I didn't get to go b/c we didn't stay at the hotel that k-con was being held at and we had other things to do during the times of them  :) this yr we r staying at the hotel so i plan on doing things at night. :D I'm an amv editor, but don't know if I qualify to talk to a bunch of ppl about it  ???  http://www.youtube.com/user/emobandgeek88?feature=mhee (in case u were interested) if u want me to or want me to serve as back-up, lemme know.
