Title: Who wants to watch The Borrower Arrietty?

Well The Borrower Arrietty is finally out in BR-DVD!
I will be showing it this Friday (6-24-11) during my Anime Friday that I hold in my house in Eugene every Friday at 7:00pm.
This is BluRay quality image played on a 46" HDTV with Digital Theater Systems (DTS) 7.1 surround audio.  I will also provide free popcorn.
If you want to see the latest movie from Studio Ghibli, months before it hits the theaters here in the U.S. (not due until February 2012) then now is your chance!

I wish I could come over and watch it this week! ;; Work gets in the way so often nowadays. Jeni and Tsumi won't be able to make it either due to school related things.

I finally worked it out... I'm going to see it next friday. I have been dying to see it since I heard about it mostlybbecause I am a HUGE borrowers fan. I grew up worshiping The Littles.

Time to go out and buy the American Disney BR-DVD!  Finally!  Let's see this was released in Japan on July 17, 2010, almost two years ago!  I also have the British version.  They are quite a bit different.  The British version is a closer true translation of the Japanese, and I think the voice talent sounds more like a 13 year old girl, which is what Arrietty is.  Bridgit Mendler just doesn't sound 13.
