Our next general meeting will be held on Saturday, July 16, at 1:00 PM, at:
Woodmansee Park Shelter (http://www.cityofsalem.net/Residents/Parks/ParkReservations/Pages/WoodmanseeParkShelter.aspx)
4629 Sunnyside Rd SE
Salem, OR 97302
Google Maps (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=4629+Sunnyside+Rd+SE,+Salem,+OR+97302&ie=UTF8&z=15)
A staff barbeque will be held after the official portion of the meeting and breakouts.
General meetings are open to the public. Meet and plan with other staff, find out about joining staff or become a volunteer, and learn about open staff positions. Bring interested friends!
-
Question! If we bring cake, could we possibly celebrate a birthday at the barbeque?
-
^ I APPROVE OF THIS MESSAGE!!!

^ I APPROVE OF THIS MESSAGE!!!
I approve of your signature!
But yeah, my birthday is like, three days before the meeting, so if we're able to (depends on whether or not work gives me the day off ... I did put in a request for time off), my sister and I were thinking of bringing a cake and celebrating my birthday a little belatedly with you guys. :3;;;
It will be portal cake!
... and if it's allowed, it won't be a lie!

Fun fun. So, the Vancouver people, Carpool?
-
A friend and I are going to attempt attending this meeting but we're heading in all the way from The Dalles, Oregon. If there's anyone out in this direction who's interested in possibly carpooling and splittin gas, the more the merrier.
And if not and there's anyone in Vancouver who'd like the ride down to Salem that's cool too. Four seater car with only two bodies atm.
-
Most likely I will be working in Eugene during this meeting, which I get the sense will primarily be a fun social engagement.
I will be available by phone and text during the meeting. (541) 606-0318.
For previous meetings, I've been available via Skype, but I imagine this one, being outdoors, would not be one at which folks are online.
-
I could certainly use a ride to this. Not sure what I can swing for gas since my budget's kind of tight and I still have to pay staff dues for the year but I can probably pull together something. :P
-
I want to go but I could also use a ride if passing by Beaverton, or around Portland, wouldn't mind splitting gas cost either.

The Clark Manga & Anime Club will have at least one vehicle going down to Salem. We'll be discussing these details further at our next meeting this Saturday which, hopefully, will start at 1.
-
Feel free to pm me and we can discuss a pick up if you're interested in coming down with my group. *thumbs up* We'll definitely be passing through Portland (or at least the outskirts) actually Vancouver would be more out of the way for us then Portland is.
-
i live in vancouver too and also need a ride if any one can help please let me know
-
It looks like I got approved for the day off! I'll see you guys in Salem, and hopefully will be bringing cake! 8)
-
YAY!!! HOORAY FOR CAKE!!!
-
Updating that we now have three people in a four seater car going down to this meeting. If anyone between The Dalles and Portland, or in the Portland/Vancouver area needs a ride and wants to help with gas we can take one more person! PM me if you're interested.
-
If anyone needs a ride up from the Eugene area I'm heading that way and have room. Just PM me.
-
I live in Roseburg Oregon ( actually in winston but i can make it up to roseburg) I have the money to pay for gas in carpooling if someone could give me a ride. The person I thought was going to take me ends up having to work that day.
-
Just realized I never posted here tho I did let Dawn know at last meeting.
I won't be able to make it to this meeting, time is just starting to speed up until con (and baby)
-
Also in Beaverton, also needing a ride.
Should we bring anything? Side dishes?
-
^ From what I understand, yes. I'm planning on grabbing something, but I'm not sure what yet...
-
Ah cool. If I have the chance I'll do something. But I'd need a ride first.

Please let me know if you can find a ride for the meeting because I want to go there too!
-
I...really wish there had been more ride offers because at this point, with no actual rides on the table, I can't get there.
Which means I need you guys going to do me a big favor. PLEASE find out why the vendor room information is taking so long and when we can expect to see it.
-
^ I've added it to my list of things to ask at the meeting today!
-
Thank you! And everyone wondering probably thanks you as well.
-
So, the Dir. of Rel. told me that she is waiting for a review from a Washington lawyer, and that vendors are being contacted individually.
-
...Really? Why in the world is that taking so long then? This didn't happen last time we had it in Vancouver, did it? Moreover, when are vendors being contacted? The only contact I've recieved is when I've written in and asked things.
