so ~ summer is rolling up ! and school is going to be kicked to the curb >3
It hasn't been that long since sakuracon and Kumoricon is rolling up .
so why not take the moment and meet new people and hang out ..in cosplay ?
also take photo's and whatnot ~ maybe a picnic ?

i get out june 3rd. and my graduation is june 14th. i dont mind the long bus ride. it just means more time to myself.

I rent a farm with a few other cosplayers, out in Banks? It's a short drive down from Hillsboro. Huge farm, with nice backyard for picnics. Firepit for roasting mallows at night, and a creek for people to take a dip in if needed? We could try and work out a carpool situation for it, probably. But it'd be available, and we can do a potluck situation - if people want to overnight it there. Huge place, lots of great photoops. Neko's been here.

We could probably figure out a carpool situation based on when it is you wanna do this. But you'd have to be willing to put forward a little gas. I have some roomies that may do transport. Or I may be able to talk another friend into it - if you guys put forward for a little gas for transport from Hillsboro. But yeah, you can bring tents and sleeping bags, and set up in the back yard if you wanna do an overnight. Completely safe out here - I'm willing to talk to any parents that need it. Give any information needed. If the OP wants to come out and check out the place, to see if it's fitting for the event... feel free. :3

If it's camping, I'm out. My Grandmother goes crazy when I want to go somewhere, despite that I'm an adult :\ I already have enough troubles going to Kumoricon overnight.

If someone can get me wheels the rest of the way, I could make it to Hillsboro by bus. I have a few games I can bring along (Apples to Apples anyone?) as well as food and camping gear. If I can get a whiff of when this might be, I can see if my GF would like to come along also.
I do want to know the details, like the head count, what the ratio is between guys and girls, the average age range, and if anybody cares about the last two at all. Only because I've ran into some rare meets in the past that I was all set to go to and at last the last second, was asked to drop out because of who all was going and how young they were in comparison.

I've never played apples to apples in my life. I want to so badly, and If its in August, I could use my Charismatic attitude to maybe come, so long as it isn't a Tuesday Thursday thing, because I tutor Mental Challenged Children in math for my new job.
I really haven't gone camping beyond Band camp or Church camp I could bring S'more items >.> I would be stable around Mid August.

@clap: oh is that why you said you don't know about august yet? cuz of cosplay stuff? i'm trying to get at least 50% of my costume done this month so that in august all i have to do is add the rest of the things and not be too rushed >.<

Clap, the before July 4th is a bad idea. As I will be out of town.
As for overnighting, not everyone has to do it - honestly. It's an option, people can still come over and hang out during the day. PM me for address details and such.
Also on another note, August is the perfect time, considering we have a FRESH water creek that runs through the property. We will be cleaning up the edges of it, so that there is no weeds and stuff, and will likely get a nice area for a picnic down at the creek. The creek has a nice deep section to it, that's enough to fit at least seven people. It can be swum in as well, if you wanna crouch down and get soaked with ice cold water. Nice cool water, and an amazing creek. Is just another thing we have to offer at our property.
The residence is actually just past Banks a little. It's on a 7.53 acred farm. I need to know if people have allergies to any of the following: Big dogs(As we have three herding dogs), Cats (as we have three on the property), Birds (as inside the house we have two birds).
Also, we do have horses. I just need to know if anyone has any allergies to that stuff. And I'll probably be going over the basics of camping with people when they get here. There is a trail system behind the house, that is easy to walk. Rather hard to get lost, and there are wildlife in the area. Mostly Rabbits and Deer...

i would be very willing to stay over night in august, but in a house or a good enough tent (lol) meaning i bring my own cot and such >~<
and august would be perfect.. just the crisp, cold water makes me want to change into my swim suit! >w<
we should aim for august.
um i think the only "allergy" i have during the late summer, early fall is probably the grass, and pollen but i think i can take some meds before going or w/ez. hopefully by then my allergies die down. so you don't have much control over that lol XD
