I've played with the idea for a while now, and hell... lets see where this goes!
I'd like to see X-men at Kumori. I mean, if you HAVE to be with a whole manga/anime related bit... there WAS an X-men manga that was set out where it was Kitty Pride starting up at Xavier's school... and she's the only girl there! I can't remember the actual title, but I'll try to look it up some time later.
I really don't know who'd I'd be, I have an Orginal character that I rp/made for it but that might be way too much. And as far as I'm concerned, anyone could be anyone. (I'd personally love to see a real Scott Summers in all his egotistical boyscout-ness. XD)
Anyone else up for this?

The manga was called X-Men: Misfits. It was...I'm not even gonna go there. Pretty bad.
Sooo I'm thinking X-23 or maybe Jean. If I did Jean, I'd probably do her from Grant Morrison's New X-Men, less spandex plus it looks cool.
BUT if we wanna do an OCs thing, I have plenty. I haven't done anything with them for a while, but I've got their info around here somewhere. Or I may do one of the students...ooh, I could get a blue wig and be Surge...
XD As you can see, I love this idea.

I'd say be WHOMEVER you want! With a lack of a job I'm pretty limited on things myself... which is probably why I'd stick with my OC. I don't have the time nor resources to do Mystique... dispite that probably being the most "risque" cosplay I'd ever do. Quotations around that respectfully.
And since you said before you were looking at the third day, we could totally all do this on the third day. ^^ I actually ran around as Chance a bit last year, but it wasn't quite the same. It's hard to do a "fem-remy" for lack of better terms. I might revamp some areas and tweak this and that if I have monies.

...okay, now I'm thinking I want to do fem!Scott. That would be so much fun...I love him to bits, the little bugger, but I definitely couldn't pull off his body type...but if I make him a girl...*ponders the possibilities*

Dude I could make jetpack as a prop. BECAUSE SCOTTY HAS A JETPACK. THAT MEANS I COULD HAVE A JETPACK TOO. :DDD
Fffff so yeah, I think I'm gonna add that to my Cosplay list. Probably go from Morrison's run...no spandex and a nifty jacket. And I think I know how I could make his visor. I'MMA DO THIS.

Eventually I plan to cosplay as Juggernaut (the X:Men III film version). Won't be this year as I still have a lot of work to do on my physique, but it is an idea on the back-burner.

As far as I'm concerned, we can do plots for next year too. After all, it's really never to early to start planing, right? :D
And I would totally be all up for being 'attacked' if I ended up trying Chance again. Though I am thinking more pinstripe and maybe a little less punk.

I believe that he was mentioned as a "Deadpool of all mutant abilites" that they found suitible for the project they where doing. But they never actually called him Deadpool as a name. I believe that Logan even called him by Wade still and then laughed after saying that Striker finally found a way to shut him up.
But my memory could be jarred a bit. I should watch the movie again.

Will, he WAS in the comics. I should know, I read them all the time. Thanks to Cable he was one.... for maybe a week or two. But Wade has been there for some time. The movie.... kind okay had toldly missed him up. My poor mark with a moth.....

^ The same can be said about almost every comic book super hero and villain ever portrayed in a film. Venom, Rogue, Gambit, just to name a few.

Hey hey hey now... No fighting! I'd rather not have blood shed in this thread, or on the fourms period.
I was NOT Saying that Kay couldn't be Deadpool, I was saying that it was terrorfying that he was an x-men for a period of time. Deadpool is fine. I think it would be funny to have a Grayson Creed who's NOT a mutant but was in there as a baddie. :D

DeadPool wasn't actually killed at the end of the movie. There were two alternate "after the credits" bits depending on when you saw the movie. One showed DeadPool actually grabbing his head and putting it back on.
In the movie, they called him "Weapon X", I do believe. There were so many things WRONG in that movie, though... It enrages me to my very soul. They screwed up so many characters and how they actually put together the so called "plot" for Origins is just ridiculous...

When I watched the movie recently with Chan, they actually used both. As for getting upset, I tend to get bothered by it when it's something that I'm aware of, too, but if Stan Lee is okay with it and is also part of the planning, I say "Who cares? It's not that big of a deal." Besides, I'm more interested in the next Origins movie; it intrigues me...

I sort of consider the movies to be a whole other continuity from the comics. That way I don't get bothered by inconsistencies as much.

As for the movies, there are SO MANY DAMN UNIVERSES out there that I just think of them as part of some other storyline that has happened in all the many galaxies.
If Nate Gray isn't proof of that to some extent, I don't know what is. Other than Pool Corps.... or is it Dead Corps? Deadpool Corps? Something like that. Freakin' Tito. -dies again inside-

it's totally cool. If all else fails we can plan this for next years as well. ^_^ No major rush. I'll still do Chance LeBeau if people want me too since I wear her stuff anyways to the college. XD

Perhaps with as close to KCon '11 as it is, it wouldn't be a bad idea to start making these plans for '12 now. Maybe I shall look into the possibility of Gambit.
