Is anyone going to be cosplaying from Madoka Magica at kcon this year?
I really want to do Homura, but I don't think I'll be able to make it in time so I'm going to do a gijinka of the Charlotte (the tiny witch with pink hair) instead.

I just finished this show, and while I'd love to have Puella Magi Kyouko or Sayaka done by Kumori, with the amount of sewing I have to do this summer, it's just not plausible until Sakura '12. D:
So I'll just have Streetwear Kyouko, though I'll probably only end up wearing her in line for registration, or if there's a shoot planned.

I have it ready to go, minus the wig needing to be given a good brushing. So excited to see more cosplay for Puella Magi. ;A;

Oh, I'm considering Kyoko! But like most other people apparently, I've got a lot on my plate, so it's definitely a maybe.
:) Nice to see there's a thread for it; I didn't want to start one based on "Well maybe I'll do Kyoko", and I'm really looking forward to seeing other Puella Magi!

I'll definitely be bringing my Kyuubey outfit from Sakuracon and lots of contracts to sign. ^ - ^~
I may also be doing Madoka w/ bow, still working out the details. Not sure which I'd do for a photoshoot, depends on how many of Madoka & QBs there are, probably!

Yup! That's me ^ - ^ My notepad for Kcon will be snazzier though, I want to make a version with the glyphs they use in Madoka and have printed contract sheets for people to sign and probably keep.

Awesome! Yeah, it was interesting having an interactive cosplay (and the sweet sweet timing that the finale aired thursday night) so some people were surprised, and some just cold hunted me down. A couple people shrieked and ran away, which was also pretty great.
Only trick to signing a contract is ya gotta get a pic with me when you do, as seen here:

And my friend is planning a Sayaka cosplay for this year so I'm posting for her since she never hops on the fourms.

ACTUALLY, After spending more time with HOMURA HERE, And me dyeing my hair red, Haha I have changed my mind and I am going to be Kyoko....I just bought the wig too.

I'm ordering some wig conditioner for my Homura wig so I can brush all the tangles out. That's all I have left to do for now, haha.

I was placed on back order for my wig. So it will eventually arrive in august I think. Now I just have to commision my friend for the costume part =u=;;

I have a QB costume (actually, it's mostly just the hat) made already, so I'll likely be wearing that for a day. If there isn't one already, I'll be happy to be the photographer. :3

I really wanted to do a Homura cosplay, but due to lack of time and resources I'm planning on doing a Kyuubey Gijinka instead.
I hope to help many people become magical girls!

Homura is going to work for me this year so I think I might do a Kyubey gijinka too :3 either way I'll definitely help run this shoot, I'll be the photographer if nothing else!
Speaking of which, when would you guys like to have the shoot?

But I think a photoshoot around noon would be nice? I personally need a little more time to get to the con spaces, since we're at a different hotel from the Red lion and hilton, haha. But maybe we could do a photoshoot the first or second day of the con? (:
And sadly I think my Kyoko has dropped her cosplay for this year's Kumoricon.

Haha, I got it from a random cosplay show that I attended during a recent visit to China.
Kinda sucks that there aren't any official plushes made of him yet... :/

I'll talk with my group about when everyone is going to be in Madoka... I only have two costumes (Madoka and Wingull), but I know most the girls have at least that many. I'm probably just going to do Wingull on Friday and Monday and whenever the pokemon shoot is, and a kigurumi for the rave so other than that I'll be Madoka Kaname Sat/Sunday!
We have a full cast group of girls, plus Kybey and a Charolette. :)
I think Saturday afternoon might work for us, I'm not sure. I think most of us are staying at the hotels, sans Victoria who isn't requesting work off so she might be MIA all saturday day. She's our Mami.
I'm excited to see everyones costumes! How many have made/commissioned props?

I'm giving a cosplay panel...sometime (hopefully sat or sun, monday I'm half dead usually!) but other than that am planning on being in Madoka Sat/Sun days and Kyubey from 5 or 6 on and Monday. If there was interest I could switch from Madoka to Kyubey during the photoshoot if it's near the Hilton, but it sounds like there will be plenty of QBs to go around!
As for props, I'm making a light-up rose bow and have a book of contracts I made as QB~
Looking forward to the shoot ^ - ^ I had one last weekend with Kyubey but it'll be fun to have Madoka pics too, just hadn't finished the costume in time.

The group I'm in has all the female cast, plus a Morning Rescue! :)
We'll have everyone in costume on Saturday Night/Sunday.
