Hello all!
There's going to be a meetup in Eugene, Oregon on the 26th of June, which is a Sunday by the way~ and Also it's the birthday party of those who have birthdays around that time too :L So its more fun times galore! It will be a potluck like usual and there also will be games! Fun times!
The time of the meetup is from 12-5 pm, and the location is at the park next to the Valley River Center (I think it's called the Rose Gardens? not sure, but theres a playground!) :3 if anyone has any recommendations you can surely give them! Everything is up for discussion of course! I hope ya'll can make it!

If you guys want me to bring my bagpipes I will, I can play happy birthday (along with other tunes of course, if you so wish.) However, I also know that most of society finds them loud and obnoxious, so I certainly wouldn't be offended if you didn't want me to bring them, it's only if you have some sort of strong desire to hear a Scotland play the bagpipes.

May or may not be able to attend, as
1) it's the nineteenth, which is my brother's birthday, and I have no idea how my parents would feel if my sister and I bailed for most of the day, and
2) Miria's going to be out of state (see above), and the main reason my overprotective parents allow me to go to meetups is she goes with me. D:
So Crafty_Kitty and I are Maybes, and if we get to go, we'll be attending as our Secrets, since they're fairly summer weather friendly~

I'm also going to try to do Ukraine but I might not have the supplies in time so..yeah. Crossing fingers. Its almost def for italy and a maybe for ukraine. (kinda want to do Ukraine mostly because I don't want to bind XD. ) Gauken version comes to mind..hmm...*begins plotting immediately*

Sorry for being unable to update for a while, I was busy with.. well going to a con and being in New York for a week xD so i havent had much time to check with the forums.. till now! Yay! I'ma go update the stuff now~

Are there any plans on where this is going to be at? I kind of liked that park where we had Hetalia day at. There were lots of trees and shelter from the sun, though, i hardly ever go to Eugene (only been there 4 times now in the past two years) so there might be other parks that i don't know about yet ^^;

Since I don't know Eugene often; I only know two places for meetups, Hendricks park (for the meetup around march) and the other park we met up at for Hetalia Day. Not sure bout the names but, any opinions?

Well its basically a forest type park, and theres a picnic area with a cover and lots of tables/chairs. That one might be a good one to go to since it'll be summer and it'd be outside with the nature. Buit options are good~

That actually sounds really nice ^^ I vote for that one! Besides, change is always good and we could just save the other park for Hetalia day later this year (if we have it in Eugene again of course).

I vote for the park the last meetup was at, It was so pretty~ We'd have to maybe pick a diffrent spot though sense there is a club there every sunday.

Sorry D: I wanted to make sure you posted on the forum before I got you down. Though you do have a point about that group; though I think thats the only picnic area in the park. Or not, I have no idea. But as a plan B does people who know the town well enough to suggest another spot?

Is there any particular reason the meetup can't be Saturday? That way we could avoid the club issue entirely.

And I think I have an idea of where it could be. The park next to the Valley River Center~ One with the rose gardens. My first Eugene meetup was there and lots of fun, plus near the mall for shopping adventures and it had spectacular areas to have a picnic, get some photos.. and it even has a playground!

Well it turns out that i might not be able to go to this OTL I plan on going to the Scandinavian festival in August this year, so i need to skip out on Eugene meetups untill then.
