I was wondering if anyone was interested in doing a skit like Celebrity Jeopardy Anime form. I know it has been done before, but I think if it would fun to do. We need a Sean Connery and two other contestants and a host. I would help with making props and work as a stage ninja if needed.
I just want to know if people are interested to see if we could do it. I've been wanting to do a skit, so this could be a great chance for novices get together and just have fun. ^^
We could have meet ups during summer and we could work on a script before hand.

Oh man I love you for thinking of this! SNL Celebrity Jeopardy was one of my favorite skits <3. I would dibs the Sean Connery spot if I actually had a character that worked for that. Regardless, I hope you get some people who would like to be a part of this! Sounds like a blast~

Are you talking about doing a serious skit entrant for the cosplay skit contest?
I wouldn't mind being in this as Lina Inverse..

Yes I'm talking about a serious skit for a novice division category. I want to gauge the interest to see if it is achievable to do.

Yeah, I think I'll be able to do this. As of now, the only other commitments that I have are the Charity Auction (which will be a different date), the Stand-up comedy events (which the general one MIGHT be a schedule issue), my Slayers RPG that I'll be GM-ing, and the "Miss" Kumoricon pageant (which might not even happen). I can let you know better once I speak with the one in charge of scheduling the con's events (which she might not have a true idea until around Summer).

I've never done a skit before, so I am not really sure how to set it up or plan.

There should be a thread somewhere in this area (I think in here) that will have application forms for the skits. Unless things have changed, skits can only be for about 3 minutes, unless there's enough people in the skit, then it's about 5 minutes. It's been awhile since I did one, and it was only one. However, I know the person who runs the skit contest, so I can ask.

I understand the rules, it's just actually planning of the skit and doing it.

I was in the anime Jeopardy skits, as sumomo and cookin mama. They were a lot of fun I will say they take a lot of planning rehersal not as much
I would be intersted in being a contestant again, I was just thinking it would be funny (because I will be 8 months preggers at con) to do a preggers cooking mama and make a joke like "mama wants to stay in the countery, work visa expire"
