Oh snap dude that's not far!  I think I'm HR2 or HR3 right now but I can probably get to HR6 within a week if I start playing again.  I solo'd through MHF2, MHP2nd, and MHFU and at this point Monster Hunter's not much fun to play alone and most of my friends I used to play with have quit. :(

I definitely understand that sentiment.  When I was still going to CCC I had a group of 4-12 people hunting daily.  Then I realized I should probably start going to class instead of playing video games in the community center all day.

If you get Ad Hoc you don't have to be in the same area to play together. You can do long distance wifi.
That's how Griff plays with my brother up in Washington.

You can Ad-hoc party with MHP3, but I'm not dropping $300 for a PS3 for one game. :P

If you have a ps3, go to PSN Store, View All By Title, A, and then it's called Adhoc Party.
