Post by: sassy_lassy on August 23, 2005, 11:42:22 am: Photoshoot gatherings of cosplay. Gatherings of the same anime/manga/game/style (a/m/g/s) so everyone can check out everyone's costume, mingle, talk to other fans, and people can take pictures of the other costumes as well as fun group shots.

Since I have seen some of these gatherings bouncing around on the forums, it's about time we put up a schedule so cosplayers know beforehand.

Here I'll put a list of a/m/g/s. If someone replies with a day and time for a gathering for an a/m/g/s, it will be assigned to that a/m/g/s. If a a/m/g/s isn't on the list and you want a gathering for it, just reply and it'll be added on.

Without further ado... The start of the list...

Anime/Manga/Game

Full Metal Alchemist - Sunday. 2:00 PM. Hotel Lobby.
Inuyasha - Sunday. 12:30. Hotel Lobby
Naruto - Saturday. 1:00 PM. Hotel Lobby.
Second Naruto - Saturday. 3:00 PM. In The Park Across The Street.
Final Fantasy - Sunday. Noon. In The Park.
Fruits Basket - Saturday. 11:00 AM. Hotel Lobby
Prince of Tennis - ?. ?. ?.

Other

General Video Game - Sunday. 11 AM. Hotel Lobby.

Catgirls/boys - no date set
EGL & EGA - no date set
Harry Potter - no date set
J-Rock - no date set

*It would be very much apperciated if this thread was sticky so it doesn't die like the other gathering threads*

Sure thing, just suggest a day, time, and location ^-^

On a note about making time and location. Try not to make the time during any major event (i.e. Cosplay Contest, AMV contest, Karaoke Contest) Location would be best to be set in general spots like lobbies so people can find it easily.

If you see two photoshoots that you want to attend and they are too close together then just simply speak up and people will probably be willing to change the time.

If you want to make a Big O photoshoot anyways ^-^' You can go right ahead and do so.

@ Negima

Don't worry I switched it to Saturday as soon as I remembered the first day was Saturday @_@'

@ Ronime

You should throw out a date and time for the video game gathering =^.^=

@ Kei-Kei

Hotel Lobby then. General areas like lobbies are a great place to meet up and then if the group wants to, they can move to a different place.

Two of the people coming with me and myself all have HP costumes we can bring, so if you want to do the gathering, name a time and place and we'll try and be there.

Okay, I'll make sure to post if I get my sweater in time, and even if I don't I'll be there to take pictures if we set up a place and time.

I think Saturday would be a great day to do it! Would 11 am be workable? There are a lot of cool events Saturday afternoon, so I don't want to miss anything... ^^
