There are a few Messiah sing-alongs in the Portland area, and we have been to a few HERE:
First United Methodist Church
401 E 33rd St, Vancouver, WA
Dec 11th, 2pm - 4pm.
They have some scores available to borrow, and there's a contribution basket to chip in for charity (and for the professional musicians and soloists they manage to hornswoggle into showing up...)
My wife and I are not Methodists, and no one has to be of any particular religion. Just show up and SING some of the most beautiful, glorious, yet EASY seasonal music!!
